Hey..

I've been using Vegas 4.0 for a while now..the only problem being that I can't import my Lost episodes into it. Since I got it, I have been running WMM alongside it and cutting all the clips in there, then saving them and importing them in..
This is begining to get really frustrating. The numerous clips being saved means that it takes up a LOT of memory while i'm doing the video. And running WMM alongside it makes everything run VERY slow..and sometimes causes it to crash.
I've tried using the Converter thing in the 'Vegas 6.0 Tutorial' but that doesn't seem to be working for me at all..

Can ANYBODY help me to find a way to import the episodes into Vegas? If you can I will love you forever!

You could convert the episodes to high end MPEG or WMV's. That's what I do. It takes about an hour to convert each episode. I use Mainconcept MPEG convertor to convert my eps. It's really fast. It only takes like 45 mins on there. If you decide to use that pm me and I can tell you instructions on how to change the settings so the files don't end up being huge. I set them to a 1.5 meg bit rate which means the episodes end up being around 500 meg but you can put the bit rate down as long as you are encoding to 512 WMV or whatever it should be fine with quality.
