Why, not a problem at all...
*secretly does the Happy Yippee Dance because somebody asked to see her vid*
I'm not sure if I'll have time to get it up in YSI tonight but I'll do it first thing tomorrow night, for sure.
Thanks for asking!

Actually, I had it uploading to YSI at the time of that last message but you know that part where they tell you not to browse away...? Well, I kinda ignored that and didn't realize it until about 40 minutes into the upload. So I figured it wasn't going to work and I'd have to start again tomorrow.
But -- it worked away! Yay! Guess it's more like a suggestion than a rule?
Here's the link:

Hopefully it'll work!

Thanks for taking time to comment!
Thanks also, Holly, since it seems I failed to come back and say so after your last post! Oops!

Wicked vid.
Amy says she liked the vid because it has loads of Kate/Sawyer and none of Kate/Jack. Trust her.
Personally, I think the polar bear's much better looking than Liam!

Holly, don't tell me you don't know how to download from Putfile
Hey!This vid's still up! Sweeeeet I don't have to re-upload them
The CLASSIC animation vid right here.
To download from their new tricky format, you have to take the address, and add "/videos/"and then the location(eg. "b4-13501431045.wmv")
So this link should work for you:
http://x200.putfile.com/videos/b4-13501431045.wmv
now, chances are that link won't work from here, but if you FIRST take the link from the top of the page, THEN put that link I just gave you in the address bar, it should let you download |

Thanks, Mims_and_Jay! I'm with Amy on the whole Kate/Sawyer thing! (Ignore those Jack vids I've done! I'm a Skater through and through! )
And the polar bear says thanks for the compliment as well! He works out, exfoliates, eats only organic food, all that stuff... Glad that it's paying off!

How do you get it to give you the location? I can right-click it through Firefox and it'll let me have the Properties, then the location from there, but through IE, nothing happens when I right-click it... Just wondering...

The answer to that is.... uhhh... switch to the obviously better browser!
I did find a way, its scary though . You go to the bar at the top, select "View" - "Page Source" and there will be a lot of confusing writing there :twsited: take the bar at the bottom, and pull it over as far right as you can (this should have opened in a small window, I think... ) From there, scroll down until you find the longest string of text, and right at the end should be something like this:
Quote: | src="http://x200.putfile.com/videos/b4-13501431045.wmv"></embed> |
copy the URL in that (http://x200.putfile.com/videos/b4-13501431045.wmv) and there you go!
Now, I warned you that would be scary. Behold, that is the code we speak of that makes up every webpage you see! booga booga! |

Uhhhhh... I don't have a bar at the top that has "View" on it...
*smacks face several times*
It doesn't really matter to me since, as you well know I can get Firefox to do it for me. I just haven't been able to figure out how to get that code that I've heard other people talk about and I just hate to be out of the loop!
Wait a minute, okay, I see it. Firefox has the "View" - "Page source" thing. My other kinda-sorta-IE-but-not-exactly one doesn't. The mystery is solved at last!
Ooo, that's too cool! I don't know why I like looking at all that code but it certainly gives me a weird feeling of empowerment! Bwah-ha-ha!
Okay, now I'm just spamming my own thread, huh?
Thanks! You rock, Hobbes!

Spamming your own thread makes the video look even MORE popular than it already is! it's genious!
No problemo Aislynn. I excpected a shriek, not a feeling of empowerment Oh no, now I'm scared!
You don't have a "View" bar...? Oh dear... just what version of IE ARE your running? Oh nevermind, it's not important... the Firefox is what's important!
Uhh... back to the topic at hand I move that the polar bear with sunglasses on be deemed the offical mascot of Lost and LVI! All in favor? |
