I know a bunch of people here use WMM2 and there have been a few questions about codecs and problems so when I saw this advertisement for Sony Movie Studio + DVD I thought I'd give anyone who lives in the US near a Comp USA the heads up as they say the final cost is $9.99 which is pretty unbelievable. (*the only catch is the mail in rebate adds up to around $60 so you'd have to shell out $69 USD and wait a few weeks for the rebate.) Here is the link to see for yourselves:

Seems it is only good for purchases today and tomorrow 3/17 and 3/18.

I personally use the big brother program Sony Vegas 6 but this should be a big step up for those using WMM2.

I've actually looked at Baby V before and it seems like it's the basic Vegas editor minus the audio component. And probably a good deal of the bells and whistles that Big Bro has. But still...

Glad to have helped you Ais! I was shocked to see this price too and hoped someone would take advantage of this deal. The lowest I've ever seen Movie Studio for is $49 at Best buy. Enjoy it and hope you snag one at this price!

Nobody said that Nate. Some people just don't have the bandwidth to download from bit-torrent. That's all.

Consider yourself lucky that you could download it, it's a $600 program. But I wouldn't announce it so freely, you never know who's watching.

Just be careful. I know someone who got busted for downloading Zoo Tycoon and was fined a whole lot of money for it.
