yeh, Ethan was great! I really liked how this episode unfolded and no flashbacks made it seem like about 4 episodes in one - although i really can't say anything really took me by suprise.

It was always kind of obvious someone helped her escape the others... although i guess now we know Alex isn't really "one of them". She is the anti-ethan.

lmao the Eclairians will be going potty over this one.

It was a little more dignified than that. Maybe a Dark Side *squee* or two. And the sudden urge to make a "How the love of a good (pregnant) woman could've turned Ethan back from the Dark Side" vid. Nothing grand.

I was just glad that Sawyer didn't pistol-whip a kitten or anything this week. After two "not so friendly" Sawyer eps before this one, I was getting a little worried! Some bad boy bantering was just what the doctor ordered for THIS Raving Sawyerette!

Okay, so it wasn't what Doctor Jack would've ordered, of course. But you get my meaning...

On a different note, did anybody else think it seemed a little odd how both Jack and Locke seemed pretty unconcerned about Aaron? They were both MUCH more worried about somebody finding Henry in the Hatch! (Is that like having a skeleton in the closet? Well, I guess if they stopped feeding him... ) The point being, they knew that Danielle killed her whole team because they got sick. The Hatch has "quarantine" stamped all over it! But they both shrugged Claire's concerns off like she was just being a hysterical woman.

Just seemed a little strange to me...

Yeah I agree but imo the sickness isn't real and I think the vaccine is a placebo. I think people are so scared of getting sick they don't stop to think if it is actually real. I think Danielle's team went insane.

Or just Danielle did...

Danielle: "Hey, you look sick to me!" (cocks shotgun)

Rest of her team: "No, really! We've all taken our vitamins today, we promise!" (runs like the dickens)

Hey now don't diss on Danielle. I bet she was level headed back in the day. I doubt she shot them without reason. She's been on the island for 16 years and lost her kid. Felt real sorry for her in this eppy. Hope she meets Alex soon!

Oh, I'm just funnin' with her, honest! I don't think ANYBODY would be quote/unquote "normal" after all that time on the Island, especially with what happened to her. And I do totally feel sorry for her. Especially in that "you're not the only one who didn't find what she was looking for" scene as she turns and walks away... Awww...

either that, or that particular sickness was an isolated incident, or was administered by the Others to her team to MAKE her shoot them

I agree with the placebo though, keeps Desmond in, keeps Claire okay with the idea of leaving her baby if there's only enough vaccine for him.

As for Mr. Friendlie's boss: I'd have to say the big man Mr. Hanso just because I'm hopeful and I still think Friendly is a DeGroot
EDIT: OH WAIT! Better yet! Joop!

I have to admit I fell in love with lost again last night. Last eppy was good but this was great. No flashbacks helped too it was like one solid gripping island eppy.

Yeah I think I finally got back into detail lost. I'm finally actually caring what the hints towards things are and what the questions and answers are instead of just leaving myself out of it and just sitting back not particularly caring. Check out my theory lol

Last night's was great- chilling, informative and GASP- SOMETHING ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO FORWARD THE STORY!!!

Glad to see some of the other cast back in, and I KNEW from "Homecoming" that it was going to be something to do with babies and Jin and Sun. Im really NOT looking forward to another flashback episode with those two though, theyve had enough (like Jack and Kate).

Also, I know Sawyer has a lot of miscellaneous crap, but if he has a pregnancy test randomly, Im handing in my gun and badge at the door.

Also do you see how Henry is a MASTER manipulator just like Ethan was? Ethan convinced Claire that he "just let Charlie go". Of course, heavy drugging was a factor in that. But do you see how SUBTLE that "Jack calls all the shots" comment was put in? Its going down- I mean, divide and conquer.

Yeah and I called my friend and we were laughing because we said "oh yeah a seen where Locke is unstable- thats new!". Thats just for you Hobbes

He ran in this episode right?

I watched this episode twice, once at 7 - woo it's good to be Canadian - and again on ABC at 9. DUDE.

General/Claire

I absolutely loved it. It was so creepy, and really well edited. Now I know why I pine so much for Claire-centric episodes. How INFORMATIVE was this one? I was so happy to see her trudging through the jungle, finally kicking ass and seeking for the information she wanted. BAM. I love that side of Claire, and want to see more of her. Her talk with Aaron at the end ("You're mine, and I love you.") got me all choked up, though. Sweet!Claire is still as good as ever, though Drugged!Claire, although cute and humorus, really creeped me out. Watching what Ethan & co. are capable of was interesting ,yet disturbing at the same time. The plane mobile of d00m didn't help either. *winces at the sounds of Catch A Falling Star*

Danielle and Alex

I love them both. I wish I had more to say, but I can't really add anything to that without rambling. Alex is very pretty, and I loved the softer side of Danielle we saw tonight. Poor woman. I felt so horrible for her.

EClaire

I almost believed Ethan was nice for a while. Gaaaaaaaaaah. But he was just a LIAH. I guess it's safe to assume that EClaire isn't a joke ship anymore though, eh? It was disturbing for me to watch poor Claire being taken advantage of, and a little more unnerving to see her REMEMBER it all. Putting myself in her shoes now, it's really hit me how odd and scary it must be to let yourself get lost in such dark memories that have been blocked for so long. *shudder*

Ethan stole the Charlie/Claire stomach/baby-hand-feeling moment from Raised by Another - WHICH we know, he saw. *curses* I was all "NOOOO" in slow motion the first time I saw it.

And I thought Ethan was creepy before. Ack.

Kate:

She was basically the man on this hike. That's all I have to say on the subject of Kate. Oh, except that scene with her and Sawyer was pretty sweet, considering the events in Long Con...aww. Yeah, but other than that...she was totally manly. I normally like Kate's character, but in this ep, she kinda slowed things down.

Eko:

I love him. That is all.
That scene of him cutting trees was pretty random, though. I think it was the opening of a scene with Charlie that was deleted, judging by this picture. I'm assuming Charlie could have told him about Henry/the man in the hatch, unless we're supposed to assume that it's just Eko and his awesome mind powers.

Locke:

He needs a garden to tear up like Sun. Those were perfectly good dishes...*cough* Umm, but I am looking forward to the next Locke-centric ep. Yay, angst.

Henry Gale:

Had some of the best dialogue in this ep. His conversation with Locke was particularly intriguing. I was hanging on EVERY word he said last night. I really like Henry's character, even if he is "one of them".

Jaire:

Okay, I'm a Charlie/Claire shipper, but I thought the Jack/Claire interaction in this episode was really sweet. Jack smiled genuinely for the first time since Fire and Water, and I loved it. Aww.

Aaron:

..So, is he infected?
Very cute in this episode, though I think the baby actors were switched once again.

The Lack of Charlie

Totally made me emo.

Random:

HAHA MR.ZEKE'S BEARD AND HAT ARE, LIKE, THEATRE PROPS! AHAHAHAHA. ... Yeah, dunno why that amuses me so much. It makes him a little less creepy, if anything. Was he the man talking to the Ethanator? You know, in their conversation where the dude decides to shut the door on Claire just a LITTLE too late? Bwaha.

Next Week

AHH. AHH. THEY'RE GONNA LOOK FOR HENRY'S BALLOON. CHARLIE, ANALUCIA AND SAYID! OMG WHAT A TEAM.

and sun's going to sawyer for a pregnancy test?
...
so that scene at the beginning of What Kate Did wasn't just to show of Daniel Dae Kim shirtless?
...
oh. my god. JUN BABIES! Aaron will have a friend! (assuming he lives to meet them..:/)

WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! LOST WAS TOTALLY AMAZING, EXCELLENT, SPECTACULAR, SUPERB, AND REWARDING!!

I totally loved Claire/Emille in this episode last night! This eppy was soo full of information that I was completely overwhelmed with AWeSomeNess!
And I have more respect for Ethan as well, it was great seeing him again.

Man, Oh man... LOST is starting to get HOT! BlaZinG HOT!!
Last night's episode has to be the most Suspenseful one I have seen from BOTH SEASONS! And Im really serious about that. It's been a long time since I've been blown away like this.. (I was on the edge of the seat the whole way )

I love how they're making one of the other's suffer! Take that you bullies! Anyways, I think he totally deserves it..

The whole Danielle thing was soo sad, I don't even wanna talk about it I hope she gets reunited with Alex.

I'm really starting to get impatient with what's happening in the hatch. Like Jack/Locke both said, they have no long term plans... Nothing has happened in there for like half of this season already! THey have found out nothing about the purpose of the alarm and what pressing the button is doing!

However, I totally enjoyed Ecko, even if it was a short time. And nice observation Hobbes, I also believe he's trying to build a church or a temple. Seems to fit with his character.. He is a priest now after all, or at least he believes he is. It would be fitting to have a church, away from all of the evil and darkness that surrounds the island.

FINALLY, I have finally grown back my interest in Locke. In this episode he was totally in character and I loved how he reacted in the end. Crazy, psycho Locke is starting to emerge... And I love that part of him! I am really looking forward to his true purposes, or secrets he may be keeping.

Overall, this episode has got to be one of the best so far... the whole hour was breathtaking. Even during those "long commercials" my mind was racing at speeds unimaginable. Claire was soo great in this episode that, whenever anyone else was added to the screen in this episode, I was like GET AWAY YOU FOOLS!! LET CLAIRE IN!

lol I find it funny how C/C's seem disgusted/worried about the Eclaire ship. It's just a joke ship, a bit of fun

I agree about Claire in this episode she really stood out. Great performance from Emilie.

I think the 'infection' is real, imo. I think the infection took place at the Arrow Station and that's why it's abandoned. I also think that when Sayid and Jack were underground and found that sealed off doorway, that it lead to the other hatches at one time. I think when the 'incident' occurred, they did whatever they had to do to contain it. Perhaps that's why the others are all grouped together now, they are trying to find a cure.

Just curious, but how many stations do all you guys think there are?
I think there's definitely more than one, maybe six.

Yeah this is actually the first episode I wasnt creeped out by Aaron.

Felt horrible for Danielle, but people must understand- shes been virtually alone for almost 2 decades.

Alex was so pretty, and I loved the "blue eyes" thing. Awww. Also makes you kind of wonder why Alex doesnt run away.
