Well, you know I've always said that Ethan was just misunderstood... 
Hanging Charlie? He probably was just trying to help straighten out a slight spinal problem. The blind-fold? So the light wouldn't bother his eyes, of course!
How freaky would it be if we found out that Charlie hung himself??? We didn't SEE Ethan hang him, now did we? What if Charlie was so grief-stricken because he couldn't fight off Ethan that he tried to kill himself? He DOES have issues of feeling "useless," you know... (I just rewatched "The Moth" so I have that clear in my head...  )
Whoa, my mind is spinning from the possibilties... 
I really might have to make a new Ethan vid after all!  |

Anyway can't wait to see the ep....So many questions finally answered! These Lost reruns are boring... I mean most of us saw Pilot like 10 times already...

Ooh, I was thinking the same thing. But you totally called it. When/if this does appear to be the reason behind Claire's abduction, you get total credit for it. And when/if that happens, somewhere, a late philospher is touched by your wisdom.

Aww. I would find that to be extremely depressing. Poor guy needs a self-esteem boost, hopefully realized on his own. It would be a lot more moving if Charlie realized he was worth something himself, and not because of other people's words, e.g "Dude, you rock!" [quoting Hurley here], because that's not strong enough for our hard headed Charlie, I don't think. It'd be better if he decided on his own, "Yes, I am worth something, and won't let people bring me down". I'd like to see that, but...I don't think I'll be getting for a good, long amount of time.

Well, now I totally need to make a sympathic "Ethan may have been with the bad guys but the love of a good (pregnant) woman could've turned him away from the Dark Side" vid!
Something interesting... Wait -- *checks to see if we're in the spoilers section* Yes, we're in the spoilers section so it's okay to theorize, right?
Anyway, we STILL didn't see Ethan string Charlie up so I'd say that it's a possibility that he didn't personally try to set up a game of CharliePinata. (And remember that all Charlie said about it afterwards was to mumble something about "they" just wanted Claire. They who? How many Ethans DID Charlie see? Hey, maybe Ethan has a twin brother, Evan! No, seriously, Charlie implied that there was more than just Ethan there. So, maybe all this time Ethan's been accused of hanging Charlie and it was REALLY Zeke who did it!
And okay, so we know that Claire scratched Danielle. My question: who scratched Ethan? I mean, it was always assumed that Claire had in the course of her escape but, if Danielle was telling the truth, Claire didn't come in contact with Ethan again, right? At least, not until she did her "I'm the bait in the trap, pardon me while I do the 50 yard dash" bit right before Trigger-Happy Charlie blew Ethan off the face of the planet. 
Just wondering if I missed something.
And totally off the subject, but what is it with Lost and shirtless guys playing lumberjack? First Sawyer and now Mr. Eko! Woo, muscled guys chopping down trees! *fans self and hums the chorus of "Hot In Herre"*
