Mully l thought ur contest vid was great. l loved the song choice and when you wrote "for reservations contact Jack or Kate" ...lol. That was a really nice touch. l'm not entering this contest simply cuz l can't think of a damn thing to make the theme about. But yeah you did an awesome job. LOVED IT

Far, far from being any sort of a failure at all! I thought it was great! I could practically hear all the LVI fellows out there sitting up straighter in their seats, going, "Why helloooo!" at that shot of Shannon in her bikini!  And I loved the contact info, too. 
I was also impressed with all the "scenery" shots you had. That was one thing I knew I couldn't possibly do myself, because I'm using the "prepackaged" clips, not cutting my own from the whole episodes. So I think I actually only had one ocean shot and a partial beach shot, but what I really wanted was some of the beautiful shots like you used!
Great job!

The Details
To honor the fact that this month holds the only national “jokester†holiday and is the first full month of spring we’ve come up with a rather interesting contest.
The challenge is to create a tourism video to promote tourism to the island. This makes the island your main character in the video. Creativity will determine the ultimate winner of this contest. Make it funny, gruesome, dramatic, or just whatever you feel will sell the island in the most unique way possible.
Here are a few tips. This isn’t your typical music video so be creative. Using music isn’t a requirement (reference Enchirito’s “Out of Context†videos to see what we mean) but will probably help the mood of your video. Use title cards in your video (reference Pinched Circulation’s “Priceless Moment 1†video) to help in the promotion of island tourism. Imagine yourself viewing videos of islands to visit and imagine what would set your video apart from other island videos. Remember creativity is the most important thing in this contest.

The Rules
All regular submission rules apply! If you are not familiar with these please see the Submit page for details. The following rules apply only for this contest.
-Running time must not exceed 2:00.
-The island MUST be the main focus.
-The subject of your submission email must be “April Tourism Videoâ€. Also, please name your video file LVI_(your screen name). These just allow us to keep all the videos better organized.
-Your video must be sent to our contest submissions email, lvicontests@gmail.com, by the contest deadline. If you send your video to lostvideo@gmail.com it will not be entered in the contest.

Hey everyone. Remember when l said l wasn't going to enter this contest simply cuz l couldn't think of a damn thing to make the theme about. Well l lied...lol. l wasn't gonna enter but then l thought what the hell, why not. lt's nowhere near as good as the ones on here that l've already seen but l tried to make it look like it would be a fun place you'd wanna vacation. Oh and surprise, surprise l used the song Kokomo by The Beach Boys...lol When l first started coming on this forum l posted a thread in the requests for someone to make a vid to this song  LOL. Anyway l thought it would be the perfect song for a Lost Island Tourism Vid. Here it is if u wanna check it out. THANX
