Okay, I know everyone knows CapN'Bob's hilarious Weird Al version, but I still really want to see a music video made with the ORIGINAL Bohemian Rhapsody song by Queen. Only I don't think I have the capability to do it myself and make enough justice, so...

Preferred vidder: anyone who's gotten at least one Council Pick.

And I'd like it to be ensemble, but there's certain potential for Locke, Jack and a few other characters.



Here are the lyrics, added with some of my suggestions and ideas for it:

-people fall out of the back of the airplane, view from opposite the inside of the plane

-Locke looks up to the sky sitting up when he realizes that he's not paralyzed anymore, observing his surroundings.

-I'm not really sure about this one, but Walt does come to mind for me.

-Locke raises up his hands in the pouring rain

To me...*piano plays*
-Jack walking among burning wreckage in pilot 1 as the opening credits come up

-It would be interesting to explore someone for this other than Charlie, even though Charlie would work

-Jack stepping back in the middle of the wreckage and panic all around him, overwhelmed (before he starts running around helping people)

-Jack crying after his dead dad flashback

-Of course Jack's mom and him

-anticipating an EXPLOSION, shifting gears into a fast-paced rockin' sequence

Hey, DS! Since you've got a pretty clear idea of what you'd like to see in this vid, why is it that you don't want to do it yourself?

Just curious. I've really enjoyed the other vids of yours that I've seen!

(This is off-topic but I had to say again how much I love your avi and sig banner! Awesome! )

Awww, thank you Aislynn.

I probably could do it myself, but for this I just feel like someone else would have a more interesting and professional edge to it and a better size of the finished video. (I can't figure out on Vegas how to render a nice big clip like most others without it being hundreds of megabytes at least. I usually use WMV at 512 Kbps *the safe rendering*) The real reason is that I haven't gotten any CPs yet so I kind of feel low about my own vid-making.

Plus, I've made a recent resolution to postpone video making for a while and catch up on my reading during spare time. We'll just see if anyone takes an interest in it.

You definitely have the talent to pull this one off great DS, you've just had some bad luck with videos that don't really show your editing talent. This one definitely would. And since you already have the video completely planned, why not do it yourself?! Epic-worthy song still not done to its full potential, and your vision is probably already too clear to not do it yourself. I think you already know you're going to do it, and this is just a last stab at reassurance to encourage you to do it. Or else, why would you outline the whole thing if you want someone else to take it and do it to their vision?
You totally have to do it. Your vids have been great, and you've just happened to hit a tough spot in song choices and whatnot. I think you can do this and make it great, and people will love it, even IF you don't happen to get a bloody CP, who cares? It doesn't change it from being a good video.

Well, just think over it some more, think of it from some different angles, and I think you may find some more inspiration for it. Once the ideas start clicking and the whole video comes together in my mind I find I can't stop from making a video lol

Your layout sounds great... I don't think many people actually do that... I mean layout their story / clips first... I think alot of people just go in and slap a couple of clips together (I for one am definately guilty of this ) and hope it looks good. I think it's great that you have actually sat down and looked at the lyrics and set out a plan.

I really hope our feedback inspires you to change your mind and give it a shot yourself
