hi i just got vegas from the internet & im completely stuck! i try to import things into vegas and it lets me put in songs but when i try to put the clips in it wont let me???? please someone help _________________ I love lost 4eva |

Hello. I think the problem is that you need the MPEG-2 plugin that is only included in the purchased software that allows you to view MPG and MPEG files. This file/plug-in is not something to get from anyone (that I know of) but rather has to be downloaded by the SONY software itself. I am not sure if it actually affects AVI files but one way around this is to convert the clips to DIVX.
You can find instructions at the DIVX site (google DIVX and you can find the site) on how to do this but I use the beta version of Dr. DIVX which I am not sure if it is available anymore. _________________
