When Charlie's vividly surreal dreams lead him to believe Claire's baby, Aaron, is in danger, Locke suspects Charlie may be using again. Meanwhile, Sawyer encourages Hurley to act on his attraction to Libby.

THATS IT!!!! Im drawing the line in the SAND- for double standards everywhere! Okay so all the guys on the show get skinny, athletic hot women, and Libby gets Hurley? Im sure my comments will start a firestorm- and I actually like Hurley. I REALLY do, but come on! From a sexiness standpoint? Okay sorry if I offended anyone...

OKAY AND now all of a sudden Locke is a skeptic? WHATEVER- Charlie's vision was uber creepy, but Locke's was still creepier.

IM NOT DRUNK!

Anyway two people, independently of each other, have now said Locke IS "an other". Hobbes, you and I will never agree with on this. My mom said "it was boring" (she doesnt understand character building). Anyway definitely some crap going down. Whatever your opinion is on Locke, I still dont think its cool he does whatever he wants behind the scenes and says "its for everyone's own good". Grrr!

i loved this episode but at the same time i didnt... poor hobbit.

i dont really care for locke now... bastard

i'd like to know whats going on with the whole "Do i know you from somewhere?" thing with Hurley and Libby... Hurley and Libby lol
i also love how Charlie is soo jelious over Locke and Claire

Ah the mysterious men save the day again

This has to be one of my favourite Charlie eps. Locke beating up Charlie as he goes crazy? YES! YES YES!

that couldn't have HAPPENED any better!
The backstory was eh.... but it tied in with the island stuff fairly well anyway. At least finally we get some angsty Charlie, and we don't have to put up with his crap.
I was a little worried Locke would give Charlie another chance, but he's proven smarter than even I thought he was. Locke knows Charlie has lied for far too long already.

Oh and for Aislynn, there's only one good Sawyer scene near the beginning, the rest he's void from

so no need to fastforward through the ep

Oh, and next ep seems like we're finalyl gonna get some plot movement! Sa-weet!

Is it me, or is Libby giving Hurley way too much of a chance?

I'll laugh if it turns out she used to be his therapist in the mental hospital....
But still, "get Hurley some lovin'" right?

Overall not that great an episode story-wise, but I sure enjoyed the good bashing of the little bugger Charlie

maybe it'll knock some sense into him. He's got way too much confidence in himself methinks

we need angst!

- Charlie = Everyone's Bitch. We hate you Charlie. Even Jack. He SO wanted to stab you in the eye with that needle. But he refrained himself cause he took an oath.

- Locke. Beats the snot out of Charlie. Earns 10 Cool Points. Doesn't destroy statues. Loses 5 Cool Points.

- Hurley & Libby. Rocksiren, come on! It wasn't like Hurley was stalking her (ie The Charlie School of Dating Method). She was TOTALLY sweating him!

- Overall episode. It was all about Charlie which makes me hate it to start, but it certainly didn't have anything to do plotwise. I don't believe Charlie's dreams were anything but what Locke said. He needed to save Aaron cause he couldn't save himself. So it was really a "go nowhere" episode. Except for the fact that Charlie was outed as the idiot that he is, it was definitely a take it or leave it episode.

- They really do have a way of just letting crap go. This week's island motto: "Michael who?"

- Did Charlie burn Eko's favorite trees?

I think Locke's just teasing Charlie now... I mean, get rid of the damn drugs! Dont put them away so he can find him and then everybody hate him even more! Common!

Locke of all people hit charlie for what? because he took the island because of some vision thingy he had. ! Locke's the one, "The island will tell us what to do!" .... you'd think he would understand where charlie was coming from...

sorry... not liking Locke ALOT right now...

And speaking of the statues. I'm more pissed at TPTB for keeping them around more than anything. The Charlie vs. Heroin story is DONE. Move on with it.

*editing to add. I don't think anyone can reasonably defend Charlie for doing that. Setting a fire? Kidnapping the child? RUNNING AWAY from its mother down the beach!? There is no excuse for that. He deserved to be hit. Hell, he deserved more than that. They should have him on obvservation or something. He almost burned down camp? He says he won't do it again? What the hell? Where's Ana-Lucia when you need a hole dug?
