I admire that he got out of all his alcohol and herion addictions, I really do! He's a great actor.
Now he's got two children, one who's 12-13 year old back in England with his mom (that's Naveens old teacher) and now this one with that model. But what I don't get is that Naveen always says he likes older women, and this lady is 30 years old, younger than him... OK, not my business, but anyway...
I admire him as an actor, and I'll always love Sayid _________________

While I appreciate your comments about Bride & Predjudice, I was mostly kidding. Pointing out that this is purely about Naveen's personal life. He didn't break the law a la Little-Miss-Thing and therefore I could care less about his personal life, who he sleeps with or how many kids he's got.
I find it very noble of him that he is a responsible parent and it taking full responsibility for the kid and the child that he fathered when he was younger, but other than that it doesn't matter to me.
If anything this thread should be praising him for being a decent guy and owning up to it. This is hardly scandelous, in my opinion.
Just my two cents. |

I've never been to India but I've had a lot of friends there and they always spoke Hindi or some variation thereof (considering there are hundreds of languages/dialects in India) with each other. There is no way that they would all speak English as much as they did in that movie in their actual country. They're all bilingual yes, but when talking to each other they certainly did not speak English. |

LOL oh how conversations happen...
Anyway....
Naveen is a gentleman for responding the way he did to this circumstance that could mean career death for many other actors, I'm impressed!
You could even say that this took away his freedom... and they might as well just take his life while they're at it... and... yeah

Hobbes, you're my hero. A very young, scrawny hero. But yes, a hero none-the-less. |

I stand corrected. But in my recollection, scrawny doesn't refer to height, kiddo.
Geesh, you call someone your hero and this is the thanks you get! |

Hey, at least there's not a hero tax. A guy's got a lot of people to be a hero for you know. |

Let's all sing that great Mariah Carey song, "Hero." Okay, so let's not...
Oh, and you KNOW my computer has "Warren is my hero" scrolling across it at all times! I mean, how many times have I dragged its poor, nearly dead carcass over to him (figuratively ) and asked him to bring it back to life? |

Yeah, everyone speaks English in India, as in Pakistan, actually.... The Britans colonised those two countries like two hundred years ago and that's why they're still talking it over there... (take this from someone who has just finished off a major project about Pakistan and India's culture... )
And - they actually speak over 800 languages in just India _________________

There are a lot of people in India who dont speak English, unless you were being fasetious. I think Naveen grew up in upper class England. Hence the posh accent and to quote Seinfeld- "not that theres anything wrong with that!". If you were being tongue in cheek, I apologize.
You guys are pretty rough on MR. Sure it was really dumb and she obviously has a problem- I say it once and Ill say it again-
GET A DRIVER. With the dough these people are bringing in, they could have a chauffer everywhere. At least when you know youre going to go out and party. _________________

Lol Posh accent? 0_0 he is from south london. gah i am comming off as a B*tch and i don't want you guys to think i am -_-;
And i did say "yes of course they still speak Hindi and whatever other dialect, but SOME speak english as a first language" i didn't mean to say that all indians speak it as a first language. What i find really funny is if you listen to Indian slang they throw in random english words lol I haven't lived in india for about ... 5 years now i think. But when i was growing up there, everyone around me spoke english. If you think about it they are still a newly independant country, the brits had "governed" them for years.
lol i probably just justified what i said for no reason whatsoever XD Just ignore me! I am not here!
(PS I think MR needs to have a lil slack cut her way, but at the same time i think its her own fault ) _________________
