SWIII was pretty, I can at least say that much about it...
I have to agree with the spotty acting, though, it did get a bit iffy at times.
My favorite is EMOVADER.

I actually saw this a while back and kept meaning to post here but... Life, you know?
Anyway, just felt like lobbing my two cents in, even if it's very late and nobody at all even remotely cares!
Ah-HAH! I knew Hobbes saw Ep 1 first! That'll wreck the rest of 'em for you, no doubt. And yes, in case anybody couldn't figure it out, I DID see Return of the Jedi when it was in the theaters but I'd like it known that I was waaay, waaaaaaay too young to have seen Star Wars or Empire in their original runs. Just so you don't think I'm, like, completely ancient or anything...
Okay, back to Ep 3. Easily my favorite of the 3 prequels. My personal feeling about what just wasn't quite right with the first 2 prequels is that the focus was on the wrong part of the story. This is what I would've done:
1) Reduce Ep 1 to only the utmost important info and show them as flashbacks.
2) Make Ep 2 the new Ep 1. Have Anakin teenaged already. We can see what a cute li'l tyke he was in a flashback. We didn't need 2 1/2 hours of that to get the point: Look, Darth Vader was once young! And precocious! And raced Podracers! IMO.
3) Make Ep 3 the new Ep 2. Put Anakin and Padme together, show him veering towards the Dark Side as he did in Ep 3. End with him being "Vader-ized."
4) Killing Padme off at the point that she was was one of the worst of the continuity problems between the original trilogy and the new prequels, IMO. Leia told Luke that she remembered a little bit of their mother, that she was beautiful but very sad. Uhh, but Padme died when Leia was born? (And Luke was there too, so if THAT was what Leia remembered, well, he should've remembered it too! )
5) Use the time in the newly created Ep 3 to cover that continuity gap. Anakin/Vader can still be the cause of her death -- maybe as he's trying to track her down and she's on the run with Leia and gets killed then? Something like that.
6) Ep 3 could be named "Vader Kicks The Universe's Butt" because I think that's basically what I would've liked to have seen: that period of time between the prequels and Star Wars where Vader really earns his rep as the Biggest Bad Dude of the Universe. Still could end with the first Death Star under construction.
7) It occurs to me that I've thought waaaaay too much about all of this. Geesh.
Anyway, sorry for making this such a big post. Just wanted to finally get this all down in "print" so maybe I'll stop trying to figure out ways to make the prequels better. I'm fairly sure that George isn't up for completely redoing these 3 movies, just to incorporate the things I would've liked to have seen!
Okay, I really need to stop talking and find an actual Star Wars board to aim this at, instead of inflicting it on you poor LVI people! 'Cause I have waaaay too much left I still want to say!
Sorry again!
