Heya there all you SP fans (I know there's a few of you around these parts), I just thought I'd start a thread about my most favouritest (is favouritest even a word?? ) band in the entire world "Simple Plan".

I just got back from their concert last night, it was held at the John Labatt Center in London, ON and I gotta say that they put on the most rockin' show EVER!
They sang all of their hits (well except for "I Don't Wanna Think About You" which I was kind've disappointed about, it being one of my fav songs by them but then again.....who am I kidding, all of their songs are my favs lol) and a bunch of new stuff too. But the song I was waiting for for the entire night, and you know which one I'm gonna say, was of course "Untitled". Which they practically saved for last. Well, actually they sang "Perfect" last which was amazingly awesome, the perfect song to end the night (pun intended). It was all good though cause they sang everything else and I finally did get to hear my song before the night was over. W00t!

I was so nervously excited when I stepped into that HUGE ass arena full of thousands of people, mostly screaming teeny bopper girls. lol.
I wasn't sure either if they (SP) were gonna be very good live. I mean I heard/seen them on award shows and stuff and they never sounded too great live but they were awesome last night. I totally didn't expext them to be so AWESOME. They sounded pretty much the same as they do on their albums, just a bit louder. Which means I have to get my hands on the Live album now too. No rest for the devoted fans.

I was super pumped though going into this concert. I just watched SP on Much Music two days ago on ""Exposed" &"Intimate & Interactive" so I was that much more excited. I'm such a huge dork but hey, I totallt don't mind. Dork or not, I'm still one of SP's biggest fans and damn proud of it.

Man, I'm still deaf in both of my ears. Thats what getting floor tickets does to ya.
Oh well, it was SO worth it. I had the best-time-ever.

Oh and I must say that Pierre was looking pretty f*cking smokin' hot up there on the stage. I'm SO friggin in love with him. *drools*
All the girls were going wild, throwing their bra's and various other things/products up on the stage. LOL
*sings* "Oh what a night!"
I wish I had brought a camera though. We thought that we wouldn't be allowed in with one so we didn't bring one but just our luck right, every other person in the place had cameras on them, DAMNIT!!!
Next time I guess.

Oh yeahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

They also had another awesome new band open right before them, you might've heard of them, you might not have heard of them, they're called Hedley. Jacob (Hoggard, lead singer, who was also on Canadian Idol a few years ago and he placed third that season) came out wearing a pink tank top with the bands logo on it and also sporting these very disturbing pink stretch shorts to match. He looked great IMO. lol.
I hadn't really heard many of this bands songs before last night but they're now already one of my favs. Actually, I only knew two songs and they were "On My Own" and "Villain".
Now I have to go out and get their album for sure, they ROCKED!
If you haven't heard of them yet, I suggest you either get your ass to the nearest electronics store and buy their album or download a few of their songs to see if you like them enough to get the CD.

I tell you though, you won't be disappointed with their music, they're awesome.

Here's another new band you might wanna check out.
They're called Idlesons, they sang about 5 songs last night too right before Hedley and SP. They said their first single "Waiting Around" (which rocks btw) comes out sometime early next year. I'm also already in love with this band. lol. What can I say, I have alot of favourite bands at the mement (SP being my #1 of course).

Can't wait for these guys to come out. They're gonna be huge, I just know it.

Anyway, I think I've ranted on quite enough. I just felt like sharing.

And yeah, I had a blast last night. Can't wait to see them again.
They're actually gonna be in Toronto tomorrow signing autographs at the new much music store. I'm like this close to draging Jen's ass down there to see them again. LOL

Oh and I hope you like those other bands, let me know what you think of them later Naters. I'm just curious.
