I'm somewhat talking out of my ass here, but I'm pretty sure what Windows Media Player can only be used to watch videos.
I think the only free softward is Movie Maker. I don't know how or where to get or even how to use it. _________________

Windows Media player has no editor so you can't use it to make vids. You CAN use Window's Movie Maker, which apparently comes free with Win XP.
I don't have Win XP so I don't have/use WMM but I'm fairly certain it's free with XP.
If you don't have XP just download some software off Kazaa or Limewire. The program I used when I started out vidding is Power Director Pro, it's pretty easy to learn. |

The programs that I suggest r Adobe Premeir and Adobe After Effects... hard to understand but great results:P Im still trying to figure out how to work the damn thing lols... Maybe i should start reading tuts... |
