I’ve been working on a video for the last couple of days now and all of a sudden it’s just not working properly. Very random and strange things are occurring. It freezes A LOT (Which isn't that random or rare; I've had it happened to be many times before) and it just started doing that today, and I was working on it and re-opened it after the last ‘freeze’ and it took away all my coloring; but when I re-opened it they were back. I re-opened it and I couldn’t see video with some clips but I could hear the audio.

I don’t know what is going on; but it wont let me work on it and what suck is I am ALMOST done.

I'm guessing you're on Sony Vegas? Have you updated your program? Sonycreativesoftware.com (their official site) offers updates for bugs and crashes that are experienced on Sony Vegas-- especially with some file types.

Go to: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates

Other than that, I would suggest saving parts in sections. Sometimes if you have a lot of effects it'll slow the program down.

If this is a recent thing, have you installed any new software? Google Chrome and some versions of iTunes/Quicktime that are newer are not compatible with Sony Vegas.

Good luck! Hope this helps.

Thank you! I did that; saved the part in sections and got it rendered. Now I am going to update my software! Thanks for the advice!

You're welcome! The update really helped me out a lot when I was experiencing problems with certain file types. I was going mad crazy over it too! So I definitely recommend that you try that!
