| I've changed my avatar, shrunken it, made it smaller, etc... and uploaded it om Imageshack.us, but all it says is: The URL of the remote avatar is not valid. doesn't matter what i do! |

You know right now i have the very same problem (except i uploaded my on picapic) like meandi with both the avatar and the sig 
Can someone help ...

if I were you, upload it on http://www.imageshack.us/ instead, it always works.
Signature:
after you upload the image, there will be four lines with codes. Take the first one in the row, it's code is like
[URL][img]http://www.imageshack.us/thecodeofyourimage[/img][/URL]
copy it and paste it into the signature. done!
Avatar:
upload the image and then take the last code of the four ones. (it's like an ordinairy internet-address i think) then just paste it into the avatar-spce last on the profile. done!
