What about Alex and Rousseau though? I'm pretty sure whatever happened to the pregnant women started before they came to the island - so between 1977 and 1988.

True, but since they're both dead I didn't think they counted, which would suck because it would have been nice for both Alex and Rousseau to still be considered 'candidates' :S:S

Sidenote; I like to think Ethan is the reason for all the pregnant women dying; his birth began the chain of events lol

I hope that is resolved. Because it was a huge part of Ben's character AND season 3. And they go back to it, so I really hope that's it.

I always thought it was Ben, to be honest. Him losing his innocence. I always thought that had something to do with it.
