Lol, yeah, Brooke.

But FLocke wants to kill them! He knew the bomb was going to go off and some were going to die - and now he wants to go kill everyone who survived. That's why he told Claire he was going to "finish what he started."

Or at least that's why I interpreted it. *shrug*

Edit: Oh, crap. I just realized something ELSE horrible. Sun found the DriveShaft ring. The question is - did she still have it, and if not, where is it now? Is Claire ever going to get the stupid thing?

I agree with Jack. Messing with the bomb is what was going to cause the bomb to go off.

I don't think the bomb could have gone off because of the whole 'island not being done'.

Like Michael shooting himself or crashing his car, he lived.

Jack about to jump off the bridge, the island knew that Jack would save the woman in the car.

So, if the island can stop these men from killing themselves from miles away...They can make the bomb not explode because MIB isn't allowed to kill them.

I also think it had Jack believing in Jacob. Jacob stopped the dynamite from exploding, Jack figured he'd do it here because Jack knows Jacob needs them.

Sawyer didn't do anything wrong. First of all, Sayid- the guy who has been in the army and actually knows about bombs!!!!- said that the wire pulling would work. Secondly, Jack did warn Sawyer and ask him to trust him yes, but Sawyer had no reason to. The last time Jack asked Sawyer to trust him in a bomb-involving scenario Juliet died a horrible death. And that was on Jack. And so I see no reason why Sawyer should have just been like, "Oh, well you say the bomb won't explode, you must be right!" I would have done the same thing.

May I just say that I freakin' love you?

I hadn't seen the ep last night when I posted so I was just going by the reactions of "Sawyer just killed, like, EVERYBODY!" But after seeing how things actually happened, I don't see how anybody can put the blame only on him. FLocke put the bomb in there, HE'S the one who meant to kill all of them.

Anyway, Nicole already laid out the argument I was going to use: Sayid, who was the closest they to an expert in knowing what to do with a bomb, said to pull the wires at the same time. The last time Sawyer trusted Jack to do something that went against common sense, Juliet died. So Sawyer trusted Sayid's assessment of the situation over Jack's. If Jack would've been wrong, then they would've all died right then and there.

There was NO way that Sawyer was trying to get any of them killed. It wasn't even like he was being dumb and juggling unstable dynamite while chanting, "This thing would NEVER go off, not in a million years--" KA-BOOM! He just played the odds that most people would've in that situation.

If Sawyer was the one who told Jack to wait and Jack pushed Sayid out of the way and did it anyway, Jack would be HATED for this, blamed for the entire thing. Everyone would bitch that Jack should have listened, but when Sawyer does something wrong they cut him slack, the people who say 'it's wrong', have people who are upset at them.

Sawyer is getting slack? I'd hate to see him actually taking heat if that wasn't what was going on earlier in this thread!

Seriously, as a Sawyer fan, trust me, he was definitely getting walloped at least here. (I haven't been reading other Lost sites so I don't know what's going on out there but here, oh yeah, he was the one being blamed for it all, no mistake.)

Anyway, just like shipping and character preference, it's going to be a "Your mileage may vary" sort of thing. But the important thing still is that, no matter which characters we love and which ones we disagree on, we remember that we're ALL Lost fans here.

I have Freihofer's chocolate chip cookies (local company, freaking delicious. They go on buy one-get one free sales fairly regularly. Guess what I did?

So I have an unopened box I can throw into the mix, too. But you mentioned 'shipping,' so now I have to reconsider it going to people. See, I am losing my hardass anti-shipper reputation with this banner... I think denying cookies to shippers may get me that bit of street cred back! (Or get me beat up. Whichever. To echo your words, just playing the odds.)

*raises hand* I promise, no matter what banner you have up, your hardcore anti-shipper rep is safe.

(That definitely is a gorgeous banner, though. )

My point was he was getting cut more slack than Jack would have gotten.

But you are right.

I just like coming in here and talking and discussing. I get better convos and feed back than I do other places.

-Takes cookie-

Seriously. They need to make a machine for the computer so that WE could have a cookie.

It could happen! In space...I guess pigs fly in this scenario too.

I have a love hate relationship with Sawyer.

I have a LOVE LOVEEEEEEE relationship with Holloway.

Honestly, that's one of my goals in life to create the Cookie-o-matic Computer. With just one push of a button, you "send" somebody a cookie and, in only a few seconds, ding!, out slides a freshly baked cookie from a specially designed tray in the front of the CPU! \o/

Dream big, yep, that's me.

That one TV-obsessed kid in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is way ahead of you, Brooke!

And Aislynn, if only I had enough space in my signature to quote that for time immemorial (without sacrificing my beloved Warren Z.).

(I know, I'm late to the party... )

Okay, first off, I really gotta say, Evangeline Lilly is not that great of an actress. In fact, in my opinion, she's the worst on the show. She's just so BLAND. She can do about 3 emotions, and she doesn't do them very convincingly, imo. Sorry to Evie fans, but I really felt the need to get that off my chest.

Yunjin Kim, on the other hand... She's awesome. That last scene with her and Jin was EPIC. I didn't really cry at that scene, because I have no soul, () but it did get me when Hurley started crying. Poor guy!

And I really felt for Claire when the submarine left without her - I really did get mad at Sawyer at that point. Poor thing! (Yeah, I know, that probably saved her life, but still.) And at the end when she realized they were all dead. She was good friends with Sun and Jin!

And SAYID! I'm so sad about that, I really couldn't imagine him dying. He's always been so resilient! Even when he wasn't always in the foreground, he was always there. He was like the go-to guy when no one else was around. Like McGonagall in Harry Potter! XD But yeah, so sad!

And I really don't blame Sawyer at all. Don't blame Jack either. Just FLocke, I guess. It didn't really hit me that there could be blame assigned here, lol.

While I'm not mad a Sawyer for leaving Claire, he really didn't have a choice, what annoys me about it when i watch it over again is the look on his face when he pulls that submarine lid closed. It's like "Well; screw you." When what she was doing was trying to help :S

Yeah, I think that's really what gets me. It's like, "Well, who cares about you, anyway?"

Yeh, i brought this up in my review a few pages back :S:S The way I see that turning out are as follows:

A) Claire doesn't get it and it's never mentioned again.
B) Claire gets it in the sideways world, maybe charlie gives it to her as a present for the baby or something?
C) Claire finds it on island and someone mentions that sun "must have dropped it" in all the running they did.

And Elyse; that's exactly what I mean. Like if i didn't want to save her, he wouldn't have bothered going up there to get her. He would have just left her like he did before, but he did go up and tried to get her; but that look on his face was heartbreaking to me, really callous and cruel. Maybe they'll fight about it in an ep to come?

Wasn't he looking at FLocke? He popped up out of the hatch, yelled, "Claire!" She turned but then went back to shooting. Here comes FLocke who yells, "James!" *pauses blow away some random dude* then he starts picking up speed heading towards the sub. That was who Sawyer gave the "OHHHHH FUUUUdgecicle" look to I thought. I was going by the fact he was looking to his right (which was screen left). He looked in the opposite direction when he first called Claire's name, his left, screen right.
