I think Desmond tried to kill Locke to prevent 'fake Locke' from being able to leave the island, because if the body is dead, then MIB is stuck on the island in some dead guy's body. I don't think it had to do with waking Locke up.

I liked that Jack trusted Hurley, I think that Hurley needed that.

I also want to know if we'll ever get re-introduced to 'Charlie says you weren't supposed to raise him'. Hurley thinking Aaron, when its' actually Locke he was referring too.

Yeah, I believed you, Kate. I wasn't disputing you.

However, like I said, I still think it means something.

That might not bode well for Sawyer. Although, maybe they have to take his hand/touch him willingly, and maybe grabbing on for dear life doesn't count. Or maybe it does. Either way, will be interesting to see!

Know what I thought of?

When XBen asked XDes if he has a kid, XDes said he did, and his name is Charlie. Do you think that was just him lying and he came up with that name on the fly (much like XClaire did with Aaron's name when she was in labor at the hospital) or I wonder if this is supposed to be at least a year or so after the X timeline events in Des' episode last week and he has since dated/married XPenny and they now have XBabyCharlie?

I think Des just said the first name that came to mind for his son's name....which happened to be Charlie, and probably is some sort of memory of the island and the son he had after.

I think he thought of Charlie because of his son, Charlie on and off the island.

But he wouldn't have Charlie in the X Timeline, unless it's at least a year later. When we last saw him in the X Timeline, he and Penny had just met.

I think the name came to him as a faint memory from the island timeline, just like Aaron's name came to Claire even though she didn't understand where it came from.

my heart was ripped out my chest with locke being ran over by psycho au des but i realize hes trying to get him to see jack at the hospital or have near death flashes, but it was still a bit EXTREME

i need desmond to still be alive

it was kinda cool irony tho locke and desmond each trying to kill each other in diff universes

OH!!! I didn't even think of it being his way of trying to get XLocke to have flashes of the island. Good thinking!!!

Definitely a bit extreme, though. He could have killed him!!!
