Did anyone catch the weird commercial for next week's Lost?

It said something like: "Next week's Lost... We regret to inform you that we can only show you a couple of seconds, but questions will be answered!"

WTH?

Anyone know what that's about?

I think they're really just not releasing any spoilers at all.

Which must mean next week's ep is AWESOME!

Just a cheesy way to stir up interest and keep people watching.

Judging from the posts in the episode thread (and my opinion, and the unsolicited opinion of the two other folks at my house right now), It seems to have turned off most people, though.

Is this something on which the entire Lost fandom on LVI can agree? Let's see!

I thought it was weird... I'm definitely curious to see what they're keeping so quiet... But it would be nice to see SOMETHING in the promo.

Even old footage would be nice....

I kind of think they are though. I mean I find Spoilers on SpoilerFIX all the time.

I just think it's a marketing ploy to get people to want to watch. If you know the episode is going to tell you ANSWERS to questions we have been asking since day 1, and that it's so big they can't reveal 30 seconds of anything, it makes fans who watch ALL the time watch, fans who stopped watching because of no answers watch, and fans who watch sometimes watch.

I am SUCH a dummy! Hahaha! For some bizarre reason I thought the commercial was saying that next week they could only show us a few seconds of the episode!!!

Oh my goodness... I think someone needs to go to bed! LOL!!!

Well, I feel much better about that now. I kind of agree, though, that showing us nothing is much less enticing than showing us at least a little something. Although, on second thought, maybe that is a little intriguing.
