That was SUCH a good episode!!! And now I'm completely convinced - the show is totally allegorical now. The stuff FLocke was saying to Sawyer? Totally manipulative and fakey... You know, follow me and I'll tell you everything - he's the DEVIL!!!!
It's also kinda freaking me out that Richard is so scared. I love Richard, and he never seemed to get too worked up about everything. And he's totally my favorite right now cuz of how adamently he's standing with Jacob, against FLocke. <3
Aww, and Locke and Helen together! That was so cute! And Rose at the temp agency! And Hurley OWNING the temp agency!
Questions - Why wasn't Kate's name written down? Jacob touched her too. Had it been crossed off? If so, why? And who else had been written up there? Anyone we know? And has Jacob always been protecting the island, or did he take it over from someone who was before him?

'Jacob' and 'James' are the same name, etymologically, which made me wonder about Sawyer as a Jacob-replacement. If they're thinking that way, chances are Sawyer will become Jacob's replacement. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I think Kate's supposed to be on that wall too cause he touched her as well.
I thought it was an interesting title, and it seems to me that he's trying to go after the most emotionally disturbed. He bad mouthed Jacob the way he approached Sawyer when he was a boy, but he's doing the same thing to Sawyer now.
I don't get how it could be a future Aaron. They're in the correct timeline of the island now, so Aaron SHOULD still be around 4.
Fake Locke doesn't want ANYONE to replace it. I think they all have to be dead, and then he can claim it. HE wants the island, he's trying to dumb down it's significance of the Island to Sawyer.
I honestly don't see Sawyer taking over the island. He's trying to manipulate all of the possible candidates to not want to take it. I still don't see him wanting to take care of and island that he hates, and I don't think he can take care of people he doesn't care about. (AKA the Others).

I think the boy is young Jacob b/c he said killing Sawyer was against the rules.

well no i dont think he thought they were both married at that point since she was just a kid..then later jack is a doctor and they wont meet till the island
but after they see the name shepard and sawyer asks if its jack MIB says "Hes not the only one." which at the surface means hes not the only one on the wall, since he showed light tothe other names, but could be double meaning from darlton too maybe, that shephard doesnt just mean jack..
