I love how everyone at Darks site are really pissed that they used the skate scenes 
ahem....i mean...yeah it served its purpose i guess. Cant really expect much just yet..

| its not about the skate scenes . I m more invested this season to the sci-fi and i wanted a blow so i ll be excited !! i saw better trailers in LVI all this times, maybe they should hire some people who actually like to to do this...so many things werent in the promo. too picky promo for promotion...to be honest even im not Locke fan i would totally put lockes death in it for me was the blow up of season 5 amazing scene. And to honest those shipper wars getting lame........in a level ....the majority of the fandom are sci-fi dogs....and besides we knew there will be no new footage ...they wanna kill us obviously... |

Actually I was mainly reffering to the people on there that commented on the fact there was a skate scene. People can get so pissy over something so silly.
tbh, they gave a good mix of stuff in there. I don't think it's any place to say what the majority of fans are. I mean, we're only talking internet fans. Many people who watch lost aren't net fans so I think it would be wrong to assume the real reason why people watch this. Personally all my friends who watch the show are not the people you find on the net, and watch it more for charcters...not the sci fi (or whatever else) aspect of the show. And most of them are guys too, so it's not like they are big shippers. They had something in the promo for everyone.
I've never claimed it was agreat promo, far from it. All I'm saying is that it did serve it's purpose by promoting the new season. It would be wrong for fans to think we were going to get much from this. It's very possible certain scenes were picked for a reason...we dont know at the end of the day.
I just don't see why people get so emotional over a promo? ya know? Especially since it does usually start a ship war. I mean here as LVI I joke about jatehate and stuff, and it doesn't become a ship war. It's part of what I love abotu the people here, they don't take it all so seriously. I think it's a big problem with Lost fans...taking it all FAR too seriously. As you said pruedens...the shipper wars are getting so lame and it's as if it's ALL anyone cares about. It's the reason I find it so funny that people got pissed about that (not to pin point but mainly fans of other ships).I mean, if there was a Jate scene it would be the same thing. But at the same time, they DO need to cater for those kind of fans too.
I know I'm rambling...I guess I'm in a mood for talking!
So to summarise...I agree with pruedens to an certain level.

Silly promo lol  But im still psyched!!! I would have much rathered a promo full of Claire, Aaron and Charlie tho ;P

I think i'm the only one who was just happy to see something LOST-ish on my screen again when the promo came on (i didn't even see it right away i heard it then looked up and recognized my losties...it wasn't the best..we at LVI could and Have done better...but I still was happy to see it regardless...they could have flashed the word lost across the screen and my fangirl ways would have squee'd anyway

you know im a jater a die heart one but since i m seeing what people in both sides say its stupid cause its a TV show. I thought Brucas/Leyton fans were hardcores in that level guess i was wrong. Anyway i want to enjoy last season in the sci-fi part why??
I admit i didnt liked the whole OTHERS theme and the freightor stuff didnt get me so much but those themes like Good Vs Evil destiny and fate were the reason i watch LOST. so i want more sci-fi things and yeah i want Claire to be back and the other characters so many things changed since season 1 .
its the last season so expect more for promotion of a SHOW LIKE LOST!!! |
