I just dl a song in m4a format but even though it imports into vegas it won't be moved onto the timeline.. I tried importing it to wmm to render it with diff format but wmm won't accept it. Do i need to download a converter and make it mp3?

Nah, m4a is the itunes file type; it doesn't import into anything because they dont want people distributing the music. The only way around it I know of is burning the song onto a CD and then ripping it back onto your computer _________________
