loudpaw: Hhhmmm, I think what I did for the red, I use "Gradient Map", then "Night Vision" and changed the green to red.

OMG I had huge problems when I first got Vegas! To make it flash like that, make a keyframe at the beginning of the clip, add your effect, then make another keyframe at the end of the clip, with all the settings on the effect turned to 0. That makes the effect fade so that by the end of the clip, there is no effect.
