Why in God's name does everyone listen to Dan AFTER he dies? Maybe they could have helped him survive if anyone had paid any attention to him. Dan was the only one who had a clue what he was doing (at least in the 1970s) and without him I don't know what they're going to do.
OOOH YAY, Sayid's back! That made me super happy. For a second I thought Kate got shot and I was all, "WHOA OMG YAY TWIST!" but then it was SAYID, which is almost as good if not better.
I felt kinda bad for Eloise after she realized Dan was her son...too bad she doesn't do anything to stop it.
I for one thought the Suliet was cuteness. He got so upset when that little weasely guy started beating her up. I wish everyone would leave the two of them alone so they can have some happiness.
When Jack was swimming down to that tunnel place I was totally reminded of Charlie on his way to the Looking Glass...
Why does Locke have to be so fake-pleasant and self-righteous? He's INCREDIBLY annoying this season. What's this about killing Jacob? Anyone agree with me about religious allegories on this show - would this make Jacob Satan? Anyone? XD
No way - is next week REALLY the finale?? I had NO idea!! Wow!
Hey, if they're off to Jacob's cabin - any chance they might see Claire??? Yay! I'm excited. _________________

I agree with you on a couple points Hobbit. Dan has been right alot, not only about the 70s, but in Season 4 as well as the first part of Season 5. He knew what the flashes were, he knew what was happening to Charlotte, even though Jack & Co. were not there for that. He has hardly ever had a wrong flippin' moment.
I'm wondering though...because Dan disappeared to Ann Arbor and the 70s crew seemed to think that he had lost his marbles at some point. Wonder if we'll see what that was about. I mean if he really started going loony (perhaps because of losing Charlotte, which I would totally understand), then yeah, some may have reason not to believe him if he went psycho, but for the most part, he's been right, he knows what he's talking about. What I will say he is wrong about is changing everything. I'm a believer in "What happened, happened" If it's done, it's done. Even if it CAN be changed, that will be paradox on a full-scale and in my opinion, show suicide. Even if it's a Sci-Fi-esque show, you don't want to push it THAT far. A paradox is just too complicated, and too dangerous to attempt on this show. The only interesting thing about changing it to me, would be the whole point of view. Seeing what happens if the plane does land. Claire gives up Aaron, Kate goes to jail, maybe a Sawyer and Cassidy reunion? I mean, we see from Suliet that he does grow up, he does want to finally settle down. There are all sorts of interesting possibilities if they go that route....but it's just too risky.
I will disagree on the Locke portion with ya....he was MOST annoying in Season 2, I like that he's taking charge and going after one of the most sought after secrets in the show....WTF is Jacob?!?!?!?!! I also want to know how Christian plays a role in all this. My mom said that it may just be an homage, but Dr. Who fans know that the Doctor wears white tennis shoes...the same shoes that Christian was buried in, and the ones he wears on the island (Time Lord maybe? ) Just kidding, but that would be a nice homage all the same...and even kind trippy and cool if that actually was the case. As we can see obviously from Locke's journey, Dead is NOT dead. Christian may be breathing for all we know. The island heals disease, makes the paralyzed walk, and now the dead come back to life. Now maybe if you died ON the island, sure, dead is dead. But if you were killed off island and brought back? Certainly an interesting notion.
I think being reminded of Charlie when Jack was swimming could be a form of foreshadowing. Alpert did say he watched them all die. Perhaps that fate is in store for Jack?
And yes...amazingly, it's the finale...then another LONG LONG TOO LONG wait for Season 6
The code name Fork in the Socket is slightly obvious, as the finale's name (oop, shouldn't say it here, but look it up and it may be a little obvious). Jack's gonna try sticking the fork in the socket and get electrocuted. Just kidding, let's hope not |

exactly my problem with her! and when she leave Jack, goes to Sawyer and doesn't think about Jack or leaves Sawyer, goes to Jack and doesn't think about Sawyer :S:S:S its infuriating!!! |
Didn't she say to Jack that she's always been with him? ie, any decision he makes she's on his side? That lasted long No offence to Skaters, but I really think Sawyer should make a stand, tell her he's happy now with Juliet-because we can see how much he cares about her-and that he's finished with Kate. It sounds harsh but it would make me really happy just to end this triangle/quadrangle/whateveridon'tcareanymore thing.
This was an interesting episode. I liked. I like this whole "we CAN change things afterall!" theme going on. Even though it's a little late to realise that... :S Was it necessary to kill Daniel? Geeze. But I do like the idea of their plane landing afterall and never coming to the island. Then all the people that died would be alive. I got this lovely image of a slow mo musical scene of everyone getting off the plane-everyone who died getting off and happy. BUT this would mean all their "redemption" stories never happened sooo it would mean, Charlie's still a drug addict, Kate gets sent to jail, etc etc. And like Kate said, it would be basically erasing their lives. Still an interesting thought and maybe they can still fix it. I doubt it will happen, it was just a really nice thought. |

Ooooh, I like the idea of the slow-mo thing with everyone getting off the plane safely, Jemma! That'd be cool. But yeah, all the redemption stories wouldn't have happened...I'm not sure if they'll actually succeed in stopping the plane crash...
I think Sawyer should stand up to Kate as well. I mean, he knows he's over her - she should know too. _________________
