Wow...loved the intro...Jack opening his eyes...running through the jungle...saving Hurley(again as in Pilot) and Kate instead of Claire...the only difference is that Kate is not pregnant or at least we don't know yet after what they did the previous night no wonder...
Anyway...the episode was good i deffinitely enjoyed it a lot
The interesting thing is that on the plane they all were representing someone from the other crash

Sayid was a prisoner instead of Kate
The woman next to him was a marshall instead of the marshall
Locke was the dead man instead of Christian Shephard
The Guitar represented Charlie maybe...but it was nice
The Arab man(who said "I'm sorry" to Jack at the airport) was instead of Sayid.

And since Sayid is taking Kate´s place as prisoner...

that leaves us Kate...instead of Claire.... maybe pregnant woman....i know it's crazy theory but maybe Kate will break the curse with pregnant women dies on the island...why not?(i've seen other forums disscussing this and since i notice it too i'm bringing that topic)
DOn't know too tired to think more...leave this to you guys...what do you think

ooh; i love that theory!! especially about Kate being the 'claire' of the plane. I do think Kate might be pregnant now after that Jate sex; and that would so tie in with her being the 'pregnant' woman on the plane/island...

I agree. I thought the opening and ending sequences were really great, but the episode left me feeling frustrated. I'm annoyed by how Jack and Kate acted. How can Jack be so nonchalant about Aaron? He was just sort of like 'ok' after Kate told him to never ask about what happened to his nephew...and then they have sex
And I'm worried about Penny. I hope Ben didn't do what I think he did

yeah; i was massively frustrated too! with Jack and Kate. Jack's character would ask where Aaron was, but kate's attitude towards him is turning into vintage Kate with Jack and Sawyer, she screws with them and then moves on. it annoys me because I adore Kate as a character; i wish she'd stopped giving me reasons not to like her! i hope that next week we see Kate's POV of what happened; maybe for some reason Christian or Locke comes to her and tells her to give him Aaron because he'll be with Claire. Or, unlikely, but maybe Claire comes to her and tells her that she'll take him. but i want to see why she suddenly decided to go back ;]

I liked this ep! A little too much Jack...but oh well. I hope we see some of the islanders soon!

Kate annoyed the heck out of me. Does anyone else think that Jate generally bring out the WORST in each other? Kate gets all weepy and emo and weak, while Jack yells and is a controlling asshole.

Where did Aaron go?! Did Carole find out about him?! I wants to know!

I liked the beginning, how it started off just like the pilot episode, and then Hurley with CHARLIE'S GUITAR in the Skate pond. That was cool.

Who's the chick with Sayid? And that other random dude? Important? Probably, knowing Lost...

Yaayyy, Frank it back! That "We're not going to Guam, are we?" was cool. Think he's back on the island now?

LOL, I liked when Ben was telling Jack about Doubting Thomas. Couldn't believe Jack didn't know how that story ended. I truly thought everyone knew that story. Even my super-unreligious friend knew that story. XD

I like how freaking Biblical this show is getting! Locke is like, a Christ figure now. (Which makes me feel bad for not liking Locke. Whatever. Jesus is way cooler.) And he's being led by Christian Shepherd - get it? A Christian - shepherd. Awesome.

Wao I think just like you.
I think the writers wanted them having sex for a reason because I don't understand why they would have gone on that road otherwise....
Seriously i didn't like how the things turned up between Jack & Kate...I mean they sleep together rigth after Aaron just disapeared....it doesn't sound like Jack at all... I didn't like that part and I think there is a reason why they 'd have done that...for the Kate/Claire pregnant thing. A baby jate would be weird but well....everything is always weird on Lost so...

And I've had read somewhere that Kate would have some hallucinations around epi 7 or 8 so I think that she might have seen Claire again or Christian/Jacob, bringing back Aaron to the isalnd and I think this why she suddenly wants to go back ...for Aaron ...because it was definitely not for Jack (I'm so disapointed by the way )!!! Besides when they got on the plane and she tells him "it's not because we are on the same plane that we are together in this" it means everything. I think it's end of Jate, I don't want to, but it sounded like it is.
So I think it might be very interesting if she's pregnant with Jack's baby.

Oh and what a great end!!!! "Jin?????" with the blue van so they are back in the past...
Can't stop thinking about the reunion with Sawyer and Kate and Jack!!!

You know....the more I think about this episode and what happened with Ben and all, the more I have this terrible, deep down feeling that he didn't kill Penny...

He killed Desmond.

Obviously, I'm gonna eat my words if I'm wrong, but this is my reasoning:

When Ben called Jack, he seemed pretty shaken up. Yes, that could be attributable to his beat down & broken arm, but we've all seen him get beat up and thrashed before and he hasn't so much as winced. Getting physically hurt doesn't seem to bother Ben.

Some people have thought that Ben played a role in apprehending Sayid to get him on the plane. This could be the case but still - I don't think Ben would be very shaken up by it. Sayid's beat him up before and I definitely don't think Ben would lose his cool over it.

Maybe he did kill Penny. That's what he wanted to do, and maybe she put up more of a fight than he was expecting, but still - I don't think this would have much of an effect on him. He made a vow to kill Penny - if he succeeded in doing that, methinks he wouldn't be to worried about it....

But Ben really seemed rattled by something when he called Jack. His voice was weak and you could tell there was much desperation there for Jack's help. He seemed very worried and distracted and that's something Ben is usually not - he's a man who keeps his cool no matter what...

So what if he attempted to kill Penny (or did kill her) but got caught my Desmond - fight ensues and Ben kills Desmond as well. Ben knows full well that Desmond is very important to the island's agenda; he heard Mrs. Hawking tell him the island wasn't finished with him yet. So if Desmond were to die - that would be catastrophic for them. And I definitely think that Ben would be HIGHLY shaken up and worried about the consequences.

Of course, this whole theory could get shot down simply by using the whole "if the island needs you, it won't let you die" idea, and I definitely think that Des could be protected under this idea, but what if when the wheel went all askew, the island's force/power went with it, thus allowing someone the island needs to die? Hmmm....

I'm just gonna keep telling myself that Des and Pen are okay. Maybe that'll get me through the suspense of not knowing!!

Ahahaha Frank's awesome.

Uhhh, Simon's Butcher Shop. Simon Pace? Butcher? I may be wrong. I thought if it was Charlie's dad they would've made it more obvious but then again.....

KAT. I am so glad you said you were pissed off too.

Guys, I hated this episode. I've loved all the other ones so far! But this one SO did not do it for me.

Random, random, random. Seemed like the writers were grasping at strings to get the oceanic 6 back together. So much of this episode was so illogical.

How did Hurley get out of jail? Oh and is it supposed to be a 'coincidence' that Sayid is on the flight? Also, wtf is with Frank's willingness? That made no sense to me at all. Like obviously something bad might happen to your hundreds of passengers, but he just responds with, "We're not going to Guam"?

I loved the Jate, but it was too random and stupid for me to take any joy in it. Like she walks into his house and collapses on the bed mumbling about Aaron? Freakin lame...

It seemed like the writers were rushing to get the losties back to the island, and they shoved it into one episode where it was random and made no sense. Why Kate's sudden change of heart when she was so vehement before?

This episode really blew for me. I hope next weeks is better and not so thrown together. This weeks episode was like Spiderman three, or Pirates three... the first one's were good, but something went awfully amiss in the writing, and there was no development to show how everyone reached this point of wanting to go back.

Spoiler involving Dessy

Spoiler:

He was filming on Lost on location on the island, saying yes he was back on the island but wouldn't go into why he was

I wasn't too enthusiastic about this episode either but I liked some of it Hurley was lovely, buying all those seats to spare those people. I had a sickening feeling all those people were going to die And Ben replies with "Who cares?" ._. What an ass.

I didn't think Des or Penny would be dead. That would be too cold, even for Lost, wayyy too cold. I think they'll be okay I was a bit miffed at the lack of explanation. Why was Ben beat up, how did Hurley get out of jail, and why was Sayid arrested? *_*

OOOOOHH, didn't even think of that! Maybe a stretch, but on Lost, is anything a stretch?

The random Jate annoyed me as well. Jate always annoys me, but that was just so....out of nowhere! I mean, when Sawyer kisses Kate he usually has a reason....even if it's just "you just looked so damn cute swingin' that pickax."

Oh GOD PLEASE TELL ME BEN DIDN'T KILL PENNY!!! AND LITTLE CHARLIE???!?!?!??!?! ARE THEY OKAY????????

Oh God, I didn't even catch it when I watched the episode, I was talking to my Dad about it later, and he was like "mom thinks Ben killed Penny". WHAT???!?!??!!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! They were so happy!!! Oh NO!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone please console me. Lie to me, say it's okay, say Penny's okay, say Charlie and Dessy are okay... please....

If Penny's dead, I might have to kill at least half of Darlton. Oooo!! Which one is the Skater? Isn't that Carlton? Damon it is!

AWWWWWWWWWWW DesPenny.... Oh crap. This sucks. SUCKS.

Sorry I just blew up. I am way too invested.

lol, im glad oyu agree with me!! I have thsi feeling tho that the next week or two we're going to see the holes in this ep. Like we'll see how Hurley got outta jail and what the heck happened with Sayid. Hopefully that'll be the case; i dont wanna have to wait til next season to find out. but i agree with everything you said, the Jate stuff was lame and didnt make sense and that's what really annoyed me. Jate stuff is usually very strong and poignant. but this was empty in a way :S:S:S Which to me lends more wait to the theory that Kate will be pregnant with Jack's baby when she's not technically with him. It's getting to the point where I don't want Kate with Jack or Sawyer; she messes with them too much

i also agree that they just rushed everyone onto the plane; which is why i think that we'll (hopefully) see what happened before that from all of their POV's other than Jack's in the coming eps ;]

I agree What a shame though!! I couldn't stop thinking "what a shame!!"
But hey since the begining of the episode was like the first episode of season 1, i thought we might see the next episode like flashbacks of every oceanic 6 about how they got into the plane, like in first season....because it was too similar to just be a one episode thing right? It wouldn't be the first time they do it, they had done it at the end of season 4 with what happens to those who left the island...
