season 1 because the whole demonic baby/ Ethan kidnapping was really compelling. I think she fell flat after that. (or after we find out what happened in season 2)

well for me, EClaire didn't start until Maternity Leave and we saw him being sweet with her. But maybe Dark!Ethan Dark!EClaire fans think it started with his kidnapped her in season 1

i went with season 3. her moments were scarce but she got stronger; more ballsy. yelling at Des about the birds; following him on her own. its a shame she was pretty much cast aside after Par Avion. and dont get me STARTED on season 4. she really coulda become this tough, kick ass chick. but no; instead she leaves her baby and disappears.

There's so much they could have done with Claire. She was so cool in S3.

S1 because she was the sweetest in that season and had a more active role

When she had Aaron, her attitude completely changed

Maternity Leave was awesome but Raised By Another was damn brilliant!

I agree completely with Jemma. Claire seemed like a totally different person after she had Aaron.

She was much more interesting to me when she was pregnant...mabye b/c I was pregnant too at the time...lol but definitely season 1!

Season 1. I loved her is Season 3 but she had a WAY better storyline is Season 1. But I loved Claire throughout all 4 seasons, it's not her fault that the writers don't give her more to do...
