Hello,
I am new to this board as well as a mega Virgin when it comes to making Vids...i have not even attempted to start one...only because i dont know what one needs to make one. I know you need software...but i am unsure of how to get movies and such on your computer? do you need a DVD drive?? or is there another way to get the scenes/films you need? After i find out all the specs i will ask about what to do next i suppose LOL...Any help from anyone would be great...i asked for help on another board but found they were less then helpful...actually rather rude.
Thanks,
Jules |

For starters I suggest try Window Movie Maker2, it's pretty easy.
As for the scenes, you can actually download the whole episode from Bit torrent or just scenes from webites like Lost-media.com, Evangeline-lilly.net, and all. I have all the episode in my computer and I use Sony Vegas 5 for editing, If that helps. _________________

I use Ulead VideoStudio 9, which you can get a free trial of at download.com
I've also used WMM2.
For dvd ripping, well, I've ripped and encoded alot of them, and I use DVD Decryptor and Flask_Mpeg. Check out dvdripguides.com too. very helpful site.
For downloaded episodes (such as lost, which is not out on DVD yet) I use torrent downloads, using the torrent client TorrentStorm, and seedler.org has been a good site lately. _________________ unliketheworld.com
