Ooooh yeah, my friend has lent me the first 2 books of a series by Louise Rennison
The first one I'm reading is called: Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal snogging , it's coming out as a movie in the summer so she has lent me the books before the film |

lol Charlie. That book title amuses me. xD
I'm reading The Shining, cuz I never got around to it before. hehe In a few hours, I got to page 162. I can only read it when I go to my school library though. They let you check it out for a whole four hours. I've only read it for like 2. _________________

I've been really terrible with books since I graduated from college 4 years ago. I used to read for pleasure all the time, but I feel like I've dumbed down or I have ADD or something. I can't concentrate on anything unless it totally enthralls me.
So that said, I've been trying to get through Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. I loved the Da Vinci Code and this one is pretty good too, if I can just sit down and focus on it!!
The last book I actually finished (and finished surprisingly fast, given my crappy attention span) was High Fidelity by Nick Hornby. I highly recommend that. I love his writing. About a Boy is good too. _________________

i'm not reading anything at the moment, but there are some good books for history buffs that I recommend
The Most Evil Men and Women in History
The Most Evil Secret Societies in History
Mad Kings and Queens
Lost Histories
Then, there's a book that I first read when I was 11 years old, and have always remembered it over any book I read as a kid. It's called The Forgotten Door by Alexander Key, it's not a huge novel, it's a somewhat short book, but a very good one.
Some other ones I'd recommend are: From the Earth to the Moon and The Right Stuff |

Hear, hear! Love that series. I haven't read it in years, but ever since the Prince Caspian movie came out I've been dying to re-read that one. _________________
