Welcome to the tree-frog-squishing-Locke-hatch-blowing club! The important thing isn't that you'd like him. The important thing is he'd be alive and possessing a whole mess of crazy character flaws for the writers to delve into in a series of boring episodes! Not to mention he'd be a single parent with Aaron and whatnot. So many storyline possibilities!

He went into the water even though he doesn't swim. I think it would be totally out of characther for him to do the exact opposite. And it would be bad tv.

Which is why you will be relieved when he takes it like a man and proves once and for all that he is a good guy who can, and does, put someone else ahead of himself.

And notice that all the instance where he "died" was for Claire. He got lynched because he wouldn't leave Claire alone into the jungle, he got electrocuted because he was shielding Claire and Aaron from the rain and he drown trying to save Claire. | Yes, but each of those moments he didn't know it was gonna happen. And the pros far outweighed the cons since his whole "life" was about being with Claire - it's his addiction - so he puts himself in danger without a question (especially when it gets him hero points from Claire). But this wouldn't be putting him in danger, it would be a final choice he has to make.
LOL any other theories on how these storylines will unfold? |

No, he won't die. He'll get rescued by Penny, of course

I think it will be interesting to see what Charlie does now he knows he's gonna die! He may try and avoid getting into situations where his life is at risk. Even perhaps situations where Claire is in danger!

All I have to say is CHHHAAAAARLLIIIIIIIEEEEEE!!!! Nooooo! Of course, I already knew what was going to happen with him, but I'm still sad after watching this episode for the first time.
But Des's flashbacks were cool! Who is the lady?? The ring lady?? She was cool yet weird! I feel bad for Desmond, having to relive his life a million times. _________________

GARAAAARGGHHHH!!!!!! *hyperventilating* Charlie! Charlie! Chaaaarlieee!!!!
REALLY good episode! Desmond's psychic-ness totally confused me for awhile, but I think I got it now! xD
But... CHARLIE! NOOO!! I've been in denial until this episode.
Personally, I love the beach stuff. I'm sick of Jack, Kate, and even Sawyer (a little bit). Seriously, all my faves are on the beach and I've hardly seen them.
And this is the last season I'll see Charlie! *bangs head on desk*
I think I'll go to bed now. I need some sleep. *wanders off* _________________

Honestly, I have to say my reaction to this episode was quite the opposite to yours, girls! I actually loved this ep (it was my favourite episode of S3 for ages) and wasn't worried at all because I was 100% sure that they just wouldn't kill him off. How wrong I was, eh?
And I just realised I immediately stopped liking it by the finale. In fact, I forgot what I liked about most of the series O_o |

I think this eppy is in my top fave episodes (thinks of top five )
1. Through The Looking Glass
2. I do
3. Flashes Before Your Eyes
4. The Brig
5. Man Behind The Curtain
Yep makes the top 5 hehe, i think how they did that with Desmond telling Charlie about his death it opens a new plot for the rest of the series. |

I actually did like this episode, but knowing beforehand that Charlie IS going to die, and seeing this episode, kinda sent me into freakout mode, haha. Plus the seeing-the-future/flashback thingy is making my brain implode. _________________

Lol Yeah, what I mean is I wasn't freaked out at all, I had been so sure
I actually wrote a fic BEFORE this episode when we all suspected Des could see in to the future about a Charlie centric/flashback ep In it, Charlie was given some sort of board thing (by Des) Charlie sees someone drowning and is forced to use the board to swim out and save him. (Because I thought he wasn't a good swimmer, Des actually prevented him from drowning by giving him that board). It's really weird 'cause when this ep aired Des prevented Charlie from drowning and we find out he's been having these visions |

Whoa, that is weird, Jemma! Are YOU psychic? Lol. Yeah I did like Des's flashbacks and stuff and I liked the scene where Charlie and Hurley went and tried to get Des drunk, it was funny. But then the end happened and it was all CHARLIE IS GOING TO DIE and I was sad. And then my dad made fun of me for being sad. Grr. He'll be sorry when Charlie dies. _________________

Freaky Jemmz
My brother isn't really into lost, he only likes Sawyer and my mom just watches it when it's on Tv with me
I think the only person in my family who has never seen it and won't is my dad who just doesn't really like those types of shows |
