Hopefully somebody with the full version of Vegas can give you better advice than I can because Movie Studio can't mask with the pan/crop tool. I'm actually working on a vid right now where I'm basically having to chase a person around with the cookie cutter, trying to keep a mask nice and even over him without accidentally chopping off parts of other person in the scene! So all I can tell you is to just move the mask in lots of little bits when you have to and just do your best to keep it as tidy as you can.
Wow, that was SO much help, huh? Sorry! Good luck with it! ♥! |

Try first to make a screen shot. though sometimes those may look too static. Try to find clip with not allot of movement or slow a fast moving clip down with clip properties. Another method is on the masking timeline, you can change the masking as the clip moves, i have done that in some of my vids, look at My Sacrifice, where desmond is drinking the bottle if u want. I would love to do a tutorial, but i have no clue how to take pictures of my screen and have tried to but failed. |
