Thank you so much, Paul! *hugs* Yeah, that was indeed quite difficult to do and at a certain point I was even about to give up upon this vid. Thus, it makes me more than happy to hear that you thought it was believable. Thanks a lot! _________________

Such a pretty video hun. The fact that there is, like, ONE clip of them together made it even more great to watch because you just didnt know what you were gonna use next.

Beautiful, beautiful work, hun. It was gorgeous and so incredibly believable. I gave you a longer comment on YouTube, but I thought I'd reiterate here. It was amazing and very creative. I wish my vids were half as good. _________________

Oh wow this was really beautiful, Karolina. Just...wow. You used some footage of Charlie that I'd forgotten even existed and blended it so seamlessly with Penny's that I really wouldn't know they're not canon if I didn't used to watch the show. So downloading this for my external hard drive. Guh. Just...*flails* I love you! _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

Elle: Thanks so much!! Well, I was pretty much the same while making this vid... I didn't know either what I would use next. I had a few scenes all mapped out. Others, however, were quite a bit of a struggle because the backgrounds didn't match or they didn't really "look" at each other and stuff like that. Thus, I'm very happy that you liked it!
Sassy: (Uh, what's your really name, btw? I just noticed that I don't know it... ) Anyway, thank you so much for your wonderful comment and also for the one over at YT! *hugs*
It's all a question of patience and practice, you know. I guess I have a bit of the later one, but I'm still working really hard on the first point. That's why I rarely do AU vids, I'm not a very patient person. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again!!

Oh yeah, he really is! I think there's no other character that I made so many vids about... and I didn't even like him for a very long time! Well, I reckon it shows that he's a very complex character with many different sides and that you can do vids about him even if you're not into PB&J fluff.
I really, really need to make a Sayid vid now though. I've been wanting to do one for ages. It's just that I can't find any good song for him!
Oh, and thanks a lot for the link! I'll read it some time this weekend.
Jen: Awww, thank you so much, hun! Love ya, too! I really enjoyed working with the flashback scenes. I rarely used them myself up to this point and it was great to work with some off-island Charlie footage for a change (and, of course, with some footage that wasn't all about Charlie's death ). I'm glad you liked it and even saved it to your hard drive. Yay! hanks so much!
Heather: Thanks a lot, Heather! I'm glad you liked the kiss and the colouring. I wasn't sure whether the kiss looked real enough, so thanks a lot for mentioning this!
KC: Squee! Thank you!! "Amazing" sounds absolutely awesome to me! Thanks so much! _________________

Oh, Karolina!
That one KILLED me! I'm writing this from the dead because that was just soo beautiful.
Every manipulated scene was AMAZING!! I love the C&C manipulated ones and the one where even Juliet stood in for Penny. I really like the footage you used from Sonya's other work too. It felt authentic. And I also really felt the photoshopped Charlie/Penny photo looked very real!
And I'm glad you took a song that I was so sick of (radio overplay! ) and made me appreciate it for its simplistic beauty the way I appreciated it the first time I heard it. Thanks for that!
So, lovely coloring, great lyric interpretation, and wonderful story. Excellent job, honey! _________________

| Welcome to my world. Finding a song for Sayid is tough. It seems all the songs in the world could fit Charlie (maybe because he lived experiences similar to most rock-star & songwriters ) I guess not many of them have seen the horrors of being a soldiers, war and torture. I've looked for ages for a song for Sayid - someone suggested Clothes of Sand by Nick Drake and I jumped on it... _________________

Oh, Karolina, may not work, but it's Muse so I thought I'd give it a try anyway.
Muse - Soldier's Poem
It's very slow and beautiful and uber-short! _________________

Ashleigh: Aww, thank you so much! You just made me feel all warm and fuzzy! Thanks a lot! I'm more than happy that you liked it so much!
Maria: Well, I already told you about a hundred times, but I still always feel like fainting or melting away when I read your comments. They always make my day because they're so much love! Thank you so much!

I guess you mean that scene where "Penny" is looking out of the window into the night, right? That's actually not Juliet, but Ana Lucia... which is much worse because AL has black hair! I'm glad no one noticed or mentioned it by now though And the photoshopped picture, well, I'm not too happy about this one, but it's the first time I made anything like that. I still have to learn and improve myself here, but I'm glad you liked it!

Yeah, I know what you mean. The song's still pretty new in Germany, but I'm afraid I might get sick of it quickly, too, because it's on the radio all the time! I kinda hope it won't happen though.
Oh, and thanks a lot for the song suggestion, too. I'll have a listen to it because I would really love to make a Sayid vid soon. Thanks again!
Cinthia: I'm glad you jumped on Clothes of Sand because that was such a wonderful vid! I think I may have found a song that could possibly work for Sayid (but it's not that Muse song Maria just suggested). I'll have to give it a few more listens before I can make a decision. It could work for most aspects of his life though: being a soldier/torturer, the women he loved and the woman who believed that sayid has tortured her, too. Would be very cool if i culd do it. _________________

Wow! That was just beautiful in so many ways! The coloring was just perfect and *squee!* a brand new, shiny AU!ship to love! ♥♥♥!!! What amazing editing! You absolutely would believe that was how things had happened in the show!
I really loved the part in particular when she straightened his tie... That just totally sold it, in my book! It was so natural looking! Beautiful work! Loved it! ♥!
(Am out of exclamation points now so have to shut up... ) |

Well, I'm always amazed when someone comes up with a new crackship and manages to make it look really convincing, too.
The song is actually quite a PB&J song, in my opinion, but the whole "being miles away" thing just didn't work for me with Charlie and Claire. That made me think of Des and Penny but.. uh... Des isn't a singer, so Charlie and Penny! And yay! A new crackship was born!

I'm happy you noticed that moment because it was actually one of the very first Charlie/Penny moments I had mapped out and it was this one in particular (well, and the one with Charlie playing piano and Penny watching him) that kept me going on, even when I thought I wouldn't be able to finish the vid. _________________
