Interesting idea. Like a Most Promising Newcomer contest for the newbies. It could work, it could work. |

Thanks guys Like I said, it doesn't have to be every month, but just every once in awhile. It'll most likely attract more newbies to hone their skills and come out of their nervous and creative shells |

Just a little niggle - I'm not a big fan of the whole not submitting contest entry vids until they've been judged - in the last couple of contests there have been a couple of vids that I've loved and would loved to have been able to see them earlier. _________________

Me neither . But the politics you see! If the rest of the council wants to go that way, then sure. I'll try and bring it up again (we've talked about this one a bit already) |

Hi guys!
I was wondering if it would be possible to add links for the contest entries, e.g. after each contest has closed you could add links for 'Contest entries' and 'Contest winners' on the page for that month.
I always like to have a look at what people have submitted each month, and it would be really easy to find them that way.

Hey there, leyosura! We do have links for all of the contest vids on the contest page on the main site. As soon as Warren gets back, he'll update it with the latest info!
Is that kinda what you were looking for? |

Yes - I knew that the links used to be there. But I thought maybe you'd stopped doing it since the site was updated.
Of course - silly me- I hadn't gone back more than a couple of months. D'oh! |

Any chance that videos with mature themes could automatically have the 'mature themes' tag tacked onto the LVIbot postings? As it is, if people were just on the board and clicked on 'Fanatic Heart,' they wouldn't know it wasn't a kid-friendly video, so it would be nice to have the warning there too. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. I'll ask Warren about that... as soon as I get done having hysterics over that icon! Bwahahahahahahaha!!!!
Yep, indeedy, it IS my fault. I'm the mastermind behind fluffy!bunny!Sayid!
Ahem. *clears throat* In the meanwhile (he's gone on vacation so I'm not sure when he'll even be here to read about this, much less implement it) it can be edited in to the main post by either you or one of the CMs.
ZOMG, I just really wanna pet fluffy!bunny!Sayid! |

Hee! I was going to wait and see how long it took for a response. Apparently not long!
It's a very nice picture too:

| I'd like to see you guys create a sister site for Heroes videos. I know many of us are Heroes viewers too and I'd really like to see a video fansite devoted to Heroes by you guys. You do such a good job here. Name it like Heroes Video Eclipse or the Heroes Video League or somethin. |

I actually have just gotten into Heroes myself, strangely enough! We're not really set up to run a sister site at this time but I love the names you suggested for it! And we really appreciate the kind words! That truly means a lot that you think we're doing a good job here!
Anyway, it's always great to get new suggestions and here what y'all are interested in! (And in the meanwhile, there are a couple of Heroes vids down in the new Other Fandom Videos section of the board... ) Thanks! |
