Aww, i love Jun!! There's not enough of them here on LVI so props for vidding about them. I love your tag on your vids as well This was really good, really fitting for sun. she does just want a simple normal life and family and it was fitting for jin as well, showing his breakdown cos of what he did with sun's father. all in all i liked it editing was rocking, too great job for only ur second vid
can i ask you where you got your clips from? are they from your own DVD's? Cos i've looked for sun/jin clips everywhere and can't find em _________________

Thank you so much littleton_pace! That was such a sweet comment. I'm happy you enjoy Sun and Jin vids like me. I get my clips from my DVDs, yes. Also This yes this is my 3rd vid, and "Summer Skin" which is also on the site, was my second. My first one I didn't put up, I might but it was less well edited than my others. Thank you again for watching my video! |

I agree with Trey: The song choice is great. The song works very well for Sun and youd did a very good job on portraying her and her feelings.
A few suggestions on the technical aspects of the vid:
- The song is "semi-fast", so you can definitely go with some more beat use and some quicker cuts
- I wouldn't use the slow motion effect so often. It can look really good and kinda classy if used in the right place, but too much of it, unfortunately, drags the quality of a vid down a bit. The viewer loses the attention faster when there are a lot of slow-mo scenes, I reckon.
Apart from that, it was a wonderful vid and you are definitely on the right way there. Keep the vids coming! _________________

Thank you so much, I appreciate you watching my video and taking the time to help me out. I agree completely, and I always do the slow motion thing, and I try to stop it, but I can't help it sometimes When I stretch the clip, I forget that it makes the clip so long, and I know from watching other vids, the attention goes away from slow clips.
Again, I appreciate your thoughtful advice, and comments! I'm glad to have gotten it! |

Well, just don't worry about the slow-mo scenes too much. It's something you can easily get rid of with a bit of practice.
Your editing program is Sony Vegas, right? Do you work with the markers? They are such a great help if you want to get the beat use right (and, very often, more beat use also means that you won't need so many slow mo clips ).
Simply press "M" when you're working on the timeline and Vegas will put an orange marker on the very spot. That way you can look for the obvious and heavy beats in a song and mark them right away on the timeline. It makes editing so much easier because you can see how long a clip needs to be and where you can put in any transitions. _________________

I posted this on Youtube, but I'll comment here too - This was great! The vid was so sweet, and you captured their love, despite their problems. The song fits very well, tho a few spots are a bit slow for the beat, but no problem. I enjoyed it! You made an awesome vid for Jun, so be proud. I'm not as inspired with them and it probably wouldn't work out as well if I tried. _________________

You're welcome, and maybe I'll check out your other vid soon! I'm about to start on another of my vids, I keep having all these ideas! As long as I can think up enough ideas to finish it, it's going to be an anti-ship vid with 'potential Breakup Song'...anyway, that was OT. Awesome vid and I'll check out some of your other vids soon. _________________

That sounds like a great idea, and I'm sure it'll be good, considering your creativity skills! |
