|
|
Hi Im New
I was just wondering if any1 could help me on WMM. I have loads of different lost clips in my video obviously and on some of them I want to hear what the people are saying, but on some I just want my music.
I have used the audio levels but when I have set them it either plays music for ALL of my clips, or the original audio sound on ALL of my clips.
Does anyone know how to seperate I can change the audio levels depending on my clip in the timeline.
I've tried highlighting the chosen clip, but it doesn't work.
Please help!! |

Hey there, Janie! Welcome to LVI!
Check out the WMM Guide here which should jump you right into the section on Adding Audio Clips. Hopefully, that should answer your question!
Again, welcome to LVI and if you have any other questions or need any kind of help, don't hesitate to ask! |

Hi!
Oh my gawwd, im still confused
I dont know if tht section of the WMM2 help guide is right 4 my question, all I want to do is change the audio levels throughout the song so I can hear what people are saying in one clip (with the song faded but still playing in the background), then the song kicks back in for the next clip.
Help!
PS. Im pretty new to vidding as well + dont understand rendering ect. lol |

Hey again, Janie! Sorry that that wasn't more helpful.

Let's see if this is what you're looking for:
Right-click the audio part of all of the clips that you don't want to hear and click "mute." When you get to the clip you do want to hear, you can right-click it and click "volume." If it's much louder than your music, lower it and vice-versa if it's too soft.
Is that what you were looking for?

No problem, we all have to start somewhere! Rendering is the same thing as Saving As A Movie Yes, I sent you back to the same not-very-helpful Guide, sorry! But I tried to start with the basics for making a vid in WMM, then move on into more advanced things. It's pretty much everything I ever knew about vidding with WMM, so that's why I keep going back to it!
Hopefully this post was a little more helpful this time! |

Aislynn pimping her own tutorial FTW!
Actually, that's one of THE best WMM tutorials I've ever come across, so pimp away, girl!
janie, I hope you got it figured out--might take a little practice to get the levels right; WMM is ridiculously sensitive when you adjust volume, so be patient with yourself until you get the hang of it and get it right _________________ avatar: Plastic!Winchester Theater by anteka @ LJ; icon by me

You know I only wrote that thing so I'd be able to remember how to DO some of these things in WMM, doncha? I'm completely out of practice with it by now!
It's just easier to refer to it rather than write it all out again. Plus, it has pictures! And cookies! Okay, so it doesn't have cookies. I should've put cookies into it. *nods* [/end pointless spam]
Janie, I hope you get this all figured out soon so you can finish your vid! |
