I just read this at SpoilerFix. I really hope we still have our favorties come back. Now I'm really stressing the ones that get on that raft because from waht I've heard it's all male and would seriously take down the number of cast members on the island

. It's good to add new faces but I hope they realize it's this cast that won them success. Changing it to much could be disasterous.

05/07 - So far, the focus has been on only 14 of the 48 crash survivors, but that'll soon change. "The population of the island will be shaken up," Abrams says, revealing he's now casting new second-season regulars. "Not everyone will be coming back, and other people will be stepping up. Also, the survivors have explored almost none of the island, so next year becomes more mission-driven. And the inevitable fractious aspects of society-building begin to arise." I think it has been confirmed that Sawyer, Michael, Jin and Walt will be on the raft, I doubt that they won't bring back Sawyer though. I think the raftees might disappear for like.. a few episodes in season 2, JJ said some might not be back. I have a feeling it might not be those on the raft but actually someone back on the island. And it also has been confirmed about Michelle Rodriguez being a regular next season so... I guess someone has to go.

I'm curious to see how they'd do this without losing the show's current fanbase. When the show first started JJ and D mentioned there would be a steady death toll through season 1 as new characters were introduced. However this didn't happen because IMO the audience connected with the characters too quickly--to go an entire season with these people then have switched for season two seems drastic. I'm one of the few people who would REALLY hate to see Michael (harold) go. I hope they are all talk once again-l

l dunno, if Michelle's character Ana on the show is anything like her characters in her movies...l say look out Kate. Tough chick and all...lol.
But on the other hand...Kate can throw herself a goog punch. lt's hard to tell but l'd say Michelle. So if this ever happens next season Nicole...it's a bet.
