Im glad the two sociopaths are gone- say what you will about the other "murderers" on the island, they actually have remorse, which is something Nikki and Paolo NEVER had.
Also- ABC.COM has the whole episode, which is where I saw it.
May I ask just this---> "the best characters ever!"- are you kidding? It was a waste of 42 minutes of time. All that time, I couldve been watching an apple brown. _________________

But seriously i do think she could have been a great character and feel cheated that the first chance they have to show us what they’re made of they get killed.

funny, i kind of thought oppisite. i thought Paulo was more redeamable because he never really wanted the dimonds, he just wanted to be with niki, i thought niki was the cold hearted one. Oh well, i guess its just different interpritations.

Oh i agree with that! I did feel sorry for Paulo but I think he was still kinda boring and pointless.

You're absolutely right here.
In general, I'm with Becca though: For some reason, I really hated Paolo. Nikki was ok and she might indeed have been an interesting character. I don't mind much though that she's gone. I'll miss the "Who the hell are you" jokes though. _________________
After watching this episode through twice, i really have an idea about the two new characters of Nikki and Paulo. Nikki was probily the leader of the two, she hired Paulo to work with her to get the diamonds. All Nikki cares about is the money. While Paulo wants it too, he still beleives Nikki really loves him, and he's sfraid she will leave him.

Nikki and Paulo won't be coming back, except in the odd flashback, until the "Zombie season"
Heh, I think this whole Paulo and Nikki thing was just a way for the writers to get us to shut up about the Redshirts not getting air time . They bring in two unlikable ones, then kill them off in a glorious fashion, and now we don't want any more redshirts!
After Nikki's line "We all know what happens to the guess stars" i knew that it's gonna be either Nikki or Paulo...but after the end of the episode i was like ....they're buried alive???how awful is that...i didn't like then from the beginnig but their death was horrible....kind of cruel... _________________ It’s been a long year

In the episode they said that this state they were in lasted up to eight hours. So it's quite possible that they burried them eight or so hours after they found their bodies... just the moment when Nikki woke up again. (And yes, you can go eight hourse without water or food.... not very healthy though ) _________________
