I loved this episode. Other than not having Sawyer or Desmond in it, it was ridiculously amazing!
Jack-he really won me this episode. I was kind of getting anti-Jack there for a while, but just his attitude and sympathy, I mean he wasnt even angry with Locke, not really. And I love the passive agressive Jack, he's sweet.
Kate-girl needs to beat Jack up. lol. I know I just said all those great things about Jack, but seriously I would love to see her beat him up and get really angry, but I'm a Skater so what can I say...lol. Though I did like the jealousy about Jacket. It goes back to what Josh Holloway said in some interview. He said "why should she get to choose? What if she chose Sawyer and he said 'sorry not interested anymore'" or something along those lines. I have always felt the same. Why should that girl get all that power over two gorgeous guys? Sure girls are scarce, but SERIOUSLY those guys would kill for her...and now that I think about it, probably have...lol.
Locke-wonderful, back to normal. That's all I'm gonna say because I think everyone else really said it all. I wish he wasnt so gullible, but its a realistic flaw and I respect him more for it. At least he realized it. But finally in this second half of the season the writers have found things for him to do! Once again he is the plot carrier just like he used to be all the time in season 1 and 2
Danielle-DUDE I FRIGGIN LOVE THIS CHARACTER! And what great casting, I mean Alex looks exactly like her only younger.
Alex-I have to say it, though it seems gross because she is young, did anyone else see the total eye action between her and Sayid? It was there. lol. But I always saw that connection between Sayid and Danielle, so I guess it isnt that weird for him to look at Alex that way. Also, Alex is a fun character. I really enjoy her in the story. I keep wondering what her accent is, though, it sounds kind of New York influenced, but not quite. I dunno.
Juliet-YOU GO GIRL!
Ben-he's my main man. If he was real I would pick him to be my drinking buddy. Seriously he is so friggin cool.

Locke pwning Ben = AWESOME!!!!!! "I hope it's big enough for you to imagine up a new submarine" BWAHAHA!! *high fives Locke*
And I'm SO glad they've finally touched on Locke's nature with the island. How does he know more than Ben? "Because you're in a wheelchair, and I'm not." Brilliant. Brilliant writing, brilliant acting, brilliant. I have a good feeling that TPTB just might be only starting to swing into Locke's full mojo.
The carrying into the wheelchair was so frickin' tragic. The grabbing desperately of the blanket, the terrified look at the contraption, and most of all that sad, crying face said it all. I'm soooo sad for Locke. And TOQ is God.
And hell yeah for blowing up the submarine! Locke did it for himself, for the island, long before he ever talked to Ben (why else would he bring along C4?), so I'm not buying into Ben's supposed upper hand with this. It may have been convenient for him, for who knows what, but it was just coincidence. Michael by the way also did a FANTASTIC job.
Danielle staring at Alex was tragic. I do hope they reunite VERY SOON. I was kind of hoping they'd meet up this episode, but maybe next. Or maybe the finale.
Last note- was anyone else giggling that they handcuffed Sayid to a swingset? _________________

Good episode, but Locke just got fooled like he always seems to really which was a bit of a shame. Good back story though, with his depression and the injury, and as said the first movement into the wheelchair was brilliantly done, so powerful. However not just killing Ben is just bugging me.
Jack was good, great to see he's not been brainwashed. The stuff with him and Kate was good, touching edge but also distance between them almost, though I think they could've done a bit more with their heart-to-heart scene. Nothing big just a tad more. But the jealously over Jack-Juliet was well done, since it was minimal Jacket stuff to go from.
Danielle-Alex stuff is good, hope they meet soon. Can't put it off forever!
Um not got a lot else to say. Don't feel like writing an essay, but overall a good episode. However where they progress from here look unsure. I don't wanna see Kate, Sayid, Locke and Jack as prisoners. It'll just be lame. _________________

I'm watching Orientation now and I was shouting "he's gunna paralyse you!"
I liked the fact that he blew it up cuz he didnt want his dad to find him, very nice twist.
Actually LOVED the flashbacks!
Loved Juliet catching the ball uber-cute, i loved all of Juliet actually!

I don't think they've LOST the advantage over the Losties, they are on 'their' Island after all and they are the ones living in houses with electric etc.

Well, what I liked is how we kinda learned something: The Others are on the island because there's something special about it, something to do with its healing powers for Rose and Locke. Interesting.
It will be five weeks before viewers see Locke and his father again, but when they do, the results will be an intense set-up for the season's climax, Lindelof said.
