Alrighty Warren, I'm done reading them all and now I'm FINALLY all caught up with everyone else. W00t!
I just finished HBP last night and I must say that I too loved it, though I might have enjoyed OthP just a tad bit more.
But still, HBP was just as awesome. I think that if I hadn't known from the very begining that "you know who" (and no I'm not talking about Voldemort) was going to die at the end of HBP, I probably would've loved it even more. But yeah I already knew that that was coming so I wasn't surprised at the end. The funeral part was pretty sad though.
I must say that there was ALOT of teenage drama/angst in this one tho. Sometimes a little too much of it if you ask me. lol. But then again, they are 16 in this one so . . . what can ya do.
Ron and Hermione better get together in the next one. Those two are driving me nuts. lol.
I also liked that Harry developed feelings for Ginny and not continued his little thing with Cho. <-- I never really liked her anyway. LOL
Ginny's better for him imo.
I liked all the Voldemort past life stuff that was in this one. He really was disturbed from the beginning wasn't he? I was kinda waiting for him to make an appearance at the end of the book there during the whole Death Eaters at Hogwards chapter(s) (like he's done in the last two) but he didn't. Oh well, I'm not too upset cause I know we'll get lots of him in the next and final book so it's all good.
So now that Harry's not going to go back to Hogwarts in the next one do you guys reckon' he's just going to travel around the world with Ron and Hermione looking for those 4 other Horcruxes' for the whole story? I mean, it's gonna be weird without no Hogwarts. Well I'm also forgetting that the school might not even open in the next one either.
Well whichever it is, I know it'll be just as awesome as all the previous ones, probably even better.
And now, like the rest of you, I totally can't wait!!!!!
So does anybody actually know when the next one will be out? I'm already dying with antisipation here. lol.
*EDIT*
Ok also one more thing, who really uses the word "snogging"? LMAO! _________________

YAY!!!
Very interesting I thought it might be so, but I'm still a bit surprised you liked OotP better than HBP, since OotP is usually cited as the worst and HBP the best. But i suppose when you read them all in a row like that you don't have the whole anticipation thing to cloud your judgement lol. Iiiiiiinnnnteresting.
Speaking of interesting, your thoughts on you-know-who's murderer? Think he did it because he's evil? I know while reading that I had a pure blinding hatred of that guy. But now...
Spoiler:
I think I realize that when Dumbledore begged Snape... he wasn't begging him to spare him. He was begging Snape to go through with it and save Malfoy, and keep himself on the death eaters' side so Harry would still have a chance to stop Voldemort. I think Dumbledore sacrificed himself, and Snape did what he had to do.
Makes it all the more powerful, doesn't it?
Of course, if that's true, I just figured out the big reveal of the last book sorry guys lol...
*sigh* I love those books the more I think of them. They're more than just books
I'm very glad you liked them though Holly

Well like I said, I still really enjoyed HBP but I found OotP to be just a tad more interesting I guess. -The Order, Umbridge, weird Luna Lovegood, Dumbledores Army, George and Fred's shining moment from Hogwarts, the Ministry and the DA/Death Eaters Battle, finding out about the prophecy. Just everything.
and the funny thing is, I went into that book with pure dread and thinking the worst since Harr had told me that it was his least favourite of them all but it turns out that I absolutely loved it! The only part that I didn't enjoy was Harry's asshole-ish additude for about the first half of the book.
I mean, I can understand him being angry and what not for being held in the dark about what was going on but damn he was being such a little jerk. Yelling at Ron and Hermione left and right. He was really, I mean really getting on my nerves. Thankfully he retreated back to his usual self cause I tell ya I don't know how more I could take.
But yeah, I still loved HBP as well.

Hmmmm . . . I don't know what to think really. Evil? Maybe. There could be a chance that he is but I'm kinda leaning towards not evil also. When I read it I too had a burning desire to strangle Snape with my bare hands but then I thought right afterwards that "you-know-who" (again, not talking about Voldemort) is not the sort of person who would beg or plead to spare his own life. He's more of the "if you're gonna do, then do it" type in my eyes.
So yeah, I guess I do agree with what you just said above Warren about Snape. Seems more likely anyway. I think he was either trying to save Malfoy's soul (like you said) or maybe he somehow knew that Harry was there in the room under the invisibility cloak. Malfoy did see two brooms in the tower when he first came in and asked "Who else is here?". So maybe Snape had seen both of the brooms too and maybe he just assumed that Harry was there in the room as well and "you know who's" pleads were not to spare his life but to take it instead. To maybe save Harry's life. Just a guess though.

Not liked them Warren, *LOVED*, loved them. Thanks btw for convincing me that these books were worth the read. They're now pretty much my favs at the moment. lol. I just LOVE them to death.
I hope the next one's the longest and thickest yet. Nice and fat. The more pages, the better IMO.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Also I've been browsing HP forums and message boards recently and I found a couple of interesting theories.
Ok so the two I found to be the most interesting was Harry maybe being a Seer and Malfoy being a Werewolf.
I'll just quote them shall I?

So, we all have our theories... I've been reading through the thread, and one theory in particular gets me interested. Harry's mother had the ability to see the beauty in people, even when they couldn't see it in themselves... It's been mentioned before, but Harry possessing his mother's eyes is always stated at least twice in each book. It gets monotonous, but then there could be a reason behind it. Rowling might be trying to give us a hint. And it's already been confirmed that Harry having his mother's eyes will be very important in the 7th book. The only plausible spilled secret from the third movie that could apply with that would be Lily seeing the beauty in people.
So if Lily could see the beauty in people, perhaps this isn't meant to be taken metaphorically. Supposing that she really did possess a truly special ability, and because Harry 'has his mother's eyes' he also has his mother's ability.
Now we just need to figure who are the characters in the series who need to be thought as beautiful the most... I long to say Voldemort, but can you just imagine the cheesiness in a meeting where Harry can 'see the beauty' in Voldemort? XD "Voldemort burst into tears before him." Bwahaha, that's the ultimate fangirl fantasy, I'm sure.
But, for some reason, I think that Harry having his mother's eyes and thus her ability to see the beauty in people, can be the spilled secret. There may come a time in the book when this ability to 'see' within people will be needed... maybe in Voldemort's followers, maybe in Snape... and who knows, maybe even in Voldemort himself. If there's one person who needs to have beauty seen in him, it's Voldie.
But this could apply to any other character formerly seen as ugly in spirit, and most likely ugly in appearance.

Jk Rowling said that a big clue was put into the movie 3 by mistake. When Hermione says "the werewolf only responds to his own kind" and then draco howls. But in HBP Harry thinks Draco has the Dark Mark when the people discussing the topic says its a scratch from werewolf greyback.
There's also tons of more theories on that site above so take a look around at some of them. ^^

So what do you think? Both of these seem quite possible to me, though I'm not saying that they are (how could I?) but they are very good theories in my book.
Oh and here's some good points as to Snape not being evil.

Yeah. That book was still great, besides the fact that Harry was a jerk lol . But that's kinda enough to bump it down a bit.
That, and I had a pure, seething hate for Umbridge that made my eye twitch whenever I read a scene with her in it . I know that was meant to be so, but nonetheless
LMAO @ those two theories ! Though you're right, they could be true
Well JKR confirmed it, the last book is called "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows".
The Do Not Disturb sign has been removed from JK Rowling's official site.

Oh i'm gonna sob my heart out when it ends. But i'll have to hold it in till I buy the DVD and watch it at home - we see the film in the cinema as a family. Its a cheesy Christmas tradition _________________ "Jack is the guy she should be with.
