Sony Vegas is a great editing program. Lots of effects and transitions and it's really easy to figure out how to work with it.
Apart from that, there's Adobe Premiere for example. I know that quite a lot of people use that program. I never used it myself though, so I can't really tell you whether it's good or not.
Hope that helps. _________________

I agree with Kaja, though I can recommend Sony Vegas Movie Studio, which is the "baby" version of Vegas. It's a great deal cheaper and is missing only a couple of "bells and whistles." It's an awesome (and legal ) way to get almost the exact same program, but for hundreds of dollars less! |

Great thanks for your help.
I found a free 30 trial version of Sony Vegas Movie studio.
So I'll play with that for a month and if I like it maybe Santa will bring me it for Christmas!
Here's the link if anyone is interested http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/Products/ShowProduct.asp?PID=977 |
