hey! You're welcome...? I remember someone telling me that one of my first vid was choppy. Now if I see a fraction of a second where it might be considered choppy, I fix it and render again. No more choppiness from me!

I totally meant that in a good way, I swear. By okay, for example, I meant that you gave me good feedback but didn't, like, fawn over my vid or, for that matter, slaughter it.
Someone said about Slow that they liked the vid, but wondered what the story I was trying to tell was. I go WAY out of my way making non-vidders and non-Lost fans watch my vids before I submit now, just to make sure that I'm effectively telling the story, so I know what you mean

Okay, I'm going to pony up my very first vid, too...
In my own defense, the couple of talentless manips I tried to do were the absolute very first times I'd worked with Paintshop Pro. The entire thing is a GIF animation because I didn't know you could put the still pics on WMM1's timeline and cut them that way! So I nearly blew up my computer saving that as one huge GIF. I then realized I'd have to break it into several pieces, which I did, then would close Animation Shop, open WMM, put them on the timeline, note which pics seemed to be holding too long or not enough, close WMM, open Animation Shop again and change the timing, then close AS, open WMM and see how it looked! I had so little RAM that I couldn't have WMM open with any other program!
And dang I compressed the heck out of this thing, didn't I?
5 months after this vid, I got my hands on a couple of Lost vid clips and made "Vertigo." 1 year after this vid, I made "How Soon Is Now." 2 years later, I made "Tonight I Wanna Cry." Hopefully that's showing some progress!
Prepare to be amazed by the most craptacular LOTR slideshow EVER!

I made one of those way back but for my mom's dogs. That wasn't bad Ais for a slideshow. It was better than my DOGZ RULE HUMANS DROOL slideslow. LMAO, yes I named it DOGZ RULE HUMANS DROOL...I'm a dork.  |

My first vid of all time was actually "Beautiful Goodbye".
A lot better than it could have been for my first vid lol, but I'm still a little embarassed to have it on LVI, counting towards my CP count and all  . It'll always have a special place for me, and I doubt I'll ever be able to look at it objectively but I do know that by todays' standards it ain't no Gold lol. Then again, in the dark beginnings of LVI, what was a good vid was very primitive too I didn't know any better! I just put some randomish clips to music!
Ooooh a new Aislynn video It's amazing how even with still clips, the (copyright) Aislynn story and animation effects are still there LOL. Glad I saw it!
It's cool being at LVI, and seeing everyone improve so tremendously on their vids  . |

Ais, that wasn't craptacular, although craptacular is pretty much the best word of all time. I actually liked it...and I hate Miranda Otto for being so freakin gorgeous... *jealousmuch?*
Warren, I wanted to leave you commentage on your vid, but all the links seem to be dead

we could even do a contest of who's improved the most. Although that would make it very hard to judge as the judges would have to watch 2 videos apiece....
