Alrighty everyone, dunno how many of you know, but here is something that TPTB (The Powers That Be = Gregg Nations, Damon, Carlton, J.J., etc.) have been being so very naughty boys. Here is a little excerpt from the LOST Screenwriting Coordinator Gregg Nations:

Let me tell you a little story. Once upon a time spoilers were leaked on the net that included episode titles, writers, directors, shoot dates and roles for upcoming episodes. Fans were very smart and perceptive, and they were able to guess weeks in advance what the episodes were about. Much like a cop show, we were able to work backwards and figure out where the leaked information originated. There is a service that helps distribute casting breakdown information, and we realized the information leaked was the information released in breakdowns. So if we changed the information in the breakdowns, maybe the foiler information would be leaked. And lo and behold it was.

So what do you think the moral of this story is? One guess could be that in three weeks a lot of fans who think they know what's going to happen will find themselves... lost.

This is apparently the confirmed order of the first four episodes. Being that this comes from TV Guide, I think I'll take this as truth.

They probably did this to catch the guy who was leaking spoiler information to the world, the so called 'Secretagentman' who post spoilers on various shows on the Television without Pity boards. Some people, especially PB&J shippers and Claire fans, are mad that they chose Claire as a so called 'foiler' to catch the guy. If they were going to release false information, why did they pick up Claire, the most underused character on Lost? Fans of hers (and Charlie) were so happy she was getting a little attention. Now it seems she'll still be in the background, holding the baby - AGAIN.

I definitely agree with you there Cylune, I love Claire and I was glad to see a possibility of a flashback for her so soon in the season. I am a little disappointed, however, we don't know what's coming, and since J.J. Abrams is back writing for the show, this season should be inifintely better than season two, and we may get some Charlie/Claire goodies

And Steph, yep, the first episode is Jack-centric, thanks to the foilers hehe
