I have problems loading my video onto youtube. I use WMV format, and it's usually never under 5 minutes. I don't know what to do.
I often have to render in two pieces, put it back together in Windows Movie Maker and then publish that video, and then upload it to youtube. But it is taking forever.
I tried to render to youtube through Sony Vegas but everytime I would do that, it would kill my internet connection and stop working.
Does anyone have any pointers? I would really like to get my video onto youtube. I have tried all day.

Yes, it's Tourney time again!  And this is already shaping up to be LVI's best, most competitive tournament yet, with more entries than ever before and the level of excellence at an all-time high! We can hardly wait for all of the fun to begin!
But, before that can happen, we need you to decide which of your qualifying vids deserve a shot at the Vid of the Year title! You may choose any of your videos that have received both a Gold Viewer Pick & a Council Pick, submitted between October 1st, 2008 and September 30th, 2009. The number of entries is based on your vidder ranking:
Expert Vidders & Council Members: 3 entries
Advanced Vidders: 2 entries
Intermediate & Novice Vidders: 1 entry
You may post your choices here in this thread (one post only per vidder, please!), or if you’d prefer your choices be kept private until the Tourney begins, send a PM to LVI Council with “2009 Tournament Entries” as the subject! You must have your vid choices submitted by Sept 30th!!!
If you're having trouble deciding which of your vids to submit, our suggestion is to consider choosing a variety of styles. For instance, if you've made 4 trailers, 3 romantic Skate vids and 2 humor vids, then you might want to consider taking the strongest candidate from each of them. Of course, the final choice is up to you, but going for a variety is usually a safe bet if you can't find any other way to sort out your possibilities!
Also, please note the new addition of the trailer category. If you have any vids that qualify as trailers, please be sure to edit their category.  If you require any help, please contact a Council Member and we'll be glad to assist you! 
Good luck and we hope to receive your entries soon! Also stay tuned to see our NEW Members' Choice Awards, now with more categories than ever before! The Council will be nominating the vids for the categories and hopefully some of yours will be included!

As LVI receives more and more new videos by the day, it's become apparent that a need has been growing for a new category in addition to our existing Action, Romance, Angst, Comedy, Drama, AU and Crossover.
So we're happy to announce the addition of the Trailer category!
Here is where all of your trailers can have a home, whether original (completely invented by you, such as for a Jate or Skate "movie") or whether based off of an existing trailer (such as using the audio from a real movie trailer now recast with Lost characters). Please feel free to edit your trailers already on site into this new category so they can be easily found. If you have any trouble editing your vid category, contact a Council Member and we'll be glad to help you!
We hope that you find this new addition helpful. Keep an eye on this thread because there are already a few other new categories on the horizon which we hope to have available to you soon!
