Figured there might be some interest in this show as it has some Lost vibes and is Damon Lindelhof's new creation.
Synopsis:
| Quote: | | The Leftovers takes place in the wake of a global "Rapture", which caused the unexplainable disappearance of 2% of the world population. It centers not on the people who were taken, but on the ones left behind, in the fictitious suburban town of Mapleton, New York. |
I'm having a little of a hard time with the first few episodes because it is very slow and morose in parts, but can see myself potentially getting sucked in down the road. The acting is very good and there are lots of little mysteries to get invested in. Paterson Joseph as the villian is great and Justin Theroux is very good in the lead role.
