Contest: “Playing House”
Deadline: Extended: December 4th
The Details
November is the month of Thanksgiving, a time to join together with the people you love and celebrate the things that make you happy! We’re challenging you to make a video showing your favourite characters being thankful for each other.
You could do a straight-up happy-times montage showing the Modern Family having fun together, or you could even build your own, loving, AU family! Think of Jack, Kate and Aaron spending quality time together whilst on vacation  . Crossovers are welcome too, imagine if The Doctor and Daniel Faraday were BFF’s who looked out for each other during their time-traveling antics.
However, if you do decide make a video about a romantic relationship please keep the main focus of the video on the family aspect. We’re looking for cheery videos showing close relationship’s between family members or friends. They can be canon, AU, or crossovers, the choice is yours!
Most importantly, remember to have fun! We’re looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
The Rules
Specific Contest Rules:
• Make a happy video about your favourite family or friendship.
• Running time should be no longer than 5 minutes. We suggest the 3-5 minute range.
• No trailers or promos
• AUs, Crossovers and OCs are allowed.
• The more creative, the better. Don't be afraid to take risks.
• When entering your video on the Submit page, you MUST enter "November 2011 contest submission" exactly in your vid's description.
General Contest Rules:
• Contest submissions should be entered through the Submit page
• All regular submissions Rules apply.
• Only one entry per vidder
• Videos already submitted and RELEVANT can be submitted again, but we would rather see something fresh. (Please contact a CM if you wish to enter a previously-submitted video)
• Please do not use Rapidshare or Yousendit as your only hosting place.
• If you're using Youtube as your primary link, please also provide us with an alternative link. Far too often, YT is either disabled or muted by the time the contest is ready to be judged. Mediafire, zshare and Megaupload are just a few of the sites out there that can be used as reliable backup links.
• Keep in mind that however you choose to host your video, it must be available to be watched at least until after the deadline has passed. If we can not access your video at the time of judgment it will not be considered.
• Have fun!

I needed a S1 thread of TWD to stay spoiler-free 
I'm up to 1x04 now. The fourth episode was like a punch in the stomach. It started out being all fun, with the "gangstas" taking care of the old people (I was laughing so much at that, how adorable!!!  ) and ended being a real tear-jerker. Andrea's sister was bitten. It really broke my heart 
I kinda like Daryl. He's a real jerk, but I can't help but liking him somehow. Apart from him, Andrea, Dale and Glenn are my favourite characters so far.
I'm not sure if I like the triangle storyline between Rick, Shane and Lori. (Rick doesn't even know about it yet). I'm not a fan of triangle storylines and I'm not sure if I want to punsh Shane in the face or if I should actually feel sorry for him. 
Great show so far though. Definitely watching the rest of S1!
