Welcome to the 2012 LVI Video of the Year Tournament and Member's Choice Awards! This is the 8th Tournament and our 2nd since becoming multi-fandom last year!
As we did last year, we are again streamlining the Tourney & MCAs. The Members Choice Awards are up first, with 36 categories for your voting pleasure! We have several that have been around since the beginning, some that are making their second appearance and some new categories too! 
The MCAs will run from November 1st to December 2nd, so you will have close to 5 weeks to view and vote for your favs! On December 3rd, all of the winners from each of the categories will be randomly paired in the first round of the Tournament, which will then run for the next week to Dec 9th. Barring any tiebreakers, each subsequent round of the Tournament will start on the following Monday until we're down to the last round with the final 3 vids somewhere around the first part of January. (Again, tiebreaker rounds and such can affect the ending date so it's only approximate as of right now.  )
All of the awesome videos you submitted back in September have been assigned to a category in the MCAs, along with other videos that were chosen by the LVI Council. We went through an involved process to make sure each video went into the category where it has the best chance to stand out! 
Now it’s your turn to decide what videos deserve the spotlight! As you vote, please be sure to watch all of the vids in each category to make a fair decision. Please do not vote simply for a fandom, pairing or character that you like but try to really determine the best vid for that category. You just might discover a new fandom to love!
For more on voting, please see the full MCA rules. Also, if you're unable to vote, please contact a Council Member right away and we'll be glad to assist you!
We’ve done our best to be sure all vids in the MCAs have links that work, but it’s always possible that Youtube could mute or remove a video at any time without warning.  If you come across a link that doesn’t work, check the video’s thread (via the "watch and discuss" link on the main site and also accessible through the Video sections of the forum board). Sometimes there will be a new link posted there! If not, please let us know by sending a PM to a Council Member. We will contact the vidder and try to get a working link as soon as possible! We suggest that you check your own vid links, make sure they work, and also have an alternative link in addition to Youtube just in case! We would like for everyone to be able to view all these awesome vids in the MCAs!
LVI is now in its 8th year! That is 100% due to the amazing vidders who share their wonderful work with us, the members who are active on the site & forums, and the Council Members who spend their time making this site run smoothly! Huge thanks to all of you!

We are holding our Featured Member & CM for November due to the work that the Council has been doing for the Tournament & MCAs! We will have a Featured Member & CM in December.

Amy (Wickedgal) came to visit me for my birthday!!! We had an amazing time, we did karaoke and then the day after we went shopping! Here's some pics!!
