"A Friend Like Ben" 12-05-2006
Ok... When I started this video, I had an idea in my head... But the final result wasn´t exactly what I thought, the song´s melody was against me hee... Anyway... Who wants a friend like Ben? Find out...

Oh Luka, that was beyond fabulous! I adored it! The opening voice over with Ben giving his name and saying that he'd lived on the Island his whole life was just perfect! The clip choices were awesome, the lyric interpretation was fantastic, it was just wonderful from beginning to end!

Would you be willing to put up a download link for it?

Excellent, excellent vid! I enjoyed it tremendously!

[xgene]

I fail to see how the melody was fighting you cause all I saw was a Bitchin Vid! That was so awesome... though it seemed to play off a more "touchy-feely" approach with Jack and Ben, which is creepy but it was well executed. I was smiling throughout the whole vid cause it was so convincing and yet soooooo strange. I second Ais' request for a download link. Great job

[mistojen]

1. I love the Jackson 5
2. I LOVE this vid!
3. I'm with xgene...I dont see where the melody gave you a problem.

This is brilliant! Poignant...just...wow, some of those parts really made my heart break for Ben and that's really saying something, coming from me. REALLY great work!

[Redhead]

Nice! Fandabulous video! I really enjoyed it. The editing was great with a wonderful choice and variety of clips. I like how you built up his connection with Locke and Jack.

Despite being slightly weird Ben seems like an everyday nice guy, who just needs a hug! (...maybe not!)

[LOSTOnAnIsland]

I loved it!
Great clip choice and the song worked really well.
You even had me feeling sorry for Ben.
Good work!

[Luka]

Hey Aislynn! Thank you...
When I decided to make this video, the idea was Benry and all the survivors who shared a scene with him. But the song is too short, and the whole thing was confusing. So I decided to make a Benry-Locke video... But then I couldn´t leave Jack-Benry scenes out of the video... And in the end I totally changed the original idea... Anyway, I´m glad that you liked!

Thank you xgene. When I said that the song was against me, was b/c when I was making the video, sometimes the scenes were too fast for the song´s melody. I changed the video a lot until finally done with.

mistojen, I love Jackson 5 too! And even Michael´s old days... Some of his songs are perfect to make videos... Thank you!

Thanks Redhead. You know, Benry just kidnapped the survivors b/c in the end of the day, he just wants a friend...

LOSTOnAnIsland, my brother said the same thing. In the end, he was sorry for Benry. Poor, poor Benry... Thank you!

[Borislava]
