The Details

November brings us a month of peace and slowdown, as the leaves fall and everything gets ready for the cold days of winter. However, that's not all it brings. Here at LVI, November 2006 marks our Second Anniversary! To celebrate, we're going against the laws of nature. And in the style of the November 5th Holiday in Britain, where the anniversary of Guy Fawkes' attempt to blow up the parliament buildings is now celebrated with huge bonfires, fireworks and explosions, we are kicking off another year at LVI with a bang. A big one.

Your job this month is to make a Lost video all about the destruction on Lost. It can be as simple or as intricate as you want it to be, possibly even being all "deep" and tying in destruction to the very personalities of the characters… *whistles*, but whatever you want to do goes! So long as it's all about the mayhem and senseless devastation on our beloved show! As always, the best vids out there show the most creativity, so think up something really cool to help us kick-off another LVI year!

The Rules
Specific Contest Rules:

* -Videos must be about the destruction of Lost.
* -The more creative, the better. Don't be afraid to take risks.
* -Running time should be around 3-5 minutes.
* -When entering your video on the Submit page, you MUST enter "November 2006 contest submission" exactly for your vid's Description.

General Contest Rules:

* -Contest submissions should be entered through the Submit page
* -All regular submissions Rules apply.
* -Only one entry per vidder
* -Videos already submitted and RELEVANT can be submitted again, but we would rather see something fresh. (Please contact a CM if you wish to enter a previously-submitted video)
* -Please do not use Megaupload, Rapidshare or Yousendit to host your files.
* -Keep in mind that however you choose to host your video, it must be available for download at least until the end of the month. If we can not access your video at the time of judgment it will not be considered.
* -Have fun!

Yay, things go BOOM! I'm looking forward to lots of beautiful vids of destruction!

A reminder: the running time of 3 - 5 minutes is a suggestion, not a minimum rule. It doesn't have to be that long. Usually the best vids set their own length: long enough to get their message across, but not so long that you have to "pad it out" with a bunch of filler stuff either.

That said... *grabs popcorn and waits for lots of explosions and mayhem* Good luck to all!

Don't you guys celebrate Bombfire Night too? I know why we celebrate it, I just thought you guys might just do it for the fun of it
