There has been talk on Thefuselage that she is joining the cast on season 2. Here's the news from Drkhorizons.com

TV Guide reports that film actress Michelle Rodriguez ("The Fast & The Furious", "Resident Evil") will be joining the cast of ABC hit show "Lost" next season as a regular. You won't have to wait til next year though it seems. Turns out she will be introduced in the thriller's flashback-heavy season finale next month as a fellow passenger who befriends Matthew Fox's Jack prior to takeoff of the ill-fated Oceanic Flight 815. The column also confirms that cast member Evangeline Lily (Kate) has not landed the role of "Wonder Woman", sources close to the production insist that casting has not even begun.

I don't have a problem with her joining the cast, I like her in Girlfight but I don't think it's gonna work if she pull that i'm-a-tough-bitch thing again.

Hmm! That is a toss-up. You're right to say that it wouldn't fly if she was just the typical badass that she likes to play, but if she tried something different, I would not object.

Speak of new regulars, who is that guy that is supposed to join next season?

l'm not a big fan of Michelle Rodriguez myself. For one l think she can't act for shit and another thing she's kinda butchy. But l don't know, maybe if they end up making her chartacter not such a butchy, bad ass l might come around to liking her. Miracles can happen. Now with her acting, well thats a whole other story...lol

I don't really have any comments on Michelle (unless, "meh" counts as a comment?) But I think this would qualify as a spoiler. Same for the Daniel Roebuck line of conversation.

Her acting is so so. I do hope they have her playing something besides the tough chick role.
