I saw this when Michelina posted it on her LJ. I said the exact same thing to her. It's good, but I've seen productions 10 times better on LVI.

And, how are you, Elle! Haven't seen around here in ages! I really like your new icon and banner (though a blue-eyed Jack seems wrong... )

Well, of course, LVI vids'll be better. Simply because of the fact that they are made out of a fan's love for the show. This music videos (counting the Super Bowl promo) are made to promote the show. And in this case whomever the person singing the song is.

where's you get that idea? Sure, I look down my nose at these things because they're cheap (look at this for example, all the singing did was make it look cool, but did nothing for the vid itself. If that wasn't even him, it would be utterly pointless), and I'd probably vote lower than a normal vid, because stuffing a singer in does nothing to make the video original , but nope, no deleting At least nto from me.

Maybe rules have changed since Steph did have one with a singer in it, but in either your or Molly's guideline vids it says that it's against the rules.

hmmm well, I wasn't aware of it and so it's not mine. In fact, I plan to use that sort of thing in my next vid, but just a quick part, and not just for the hell of putting it in (like newbies probably would a lot, ruining their chances). I'm sure Steph must have used it in a creative way, since she is Steph after all . Did you ask about it when that happened?

I think this probably started way back when we only let Gold CP vids onto the site in the first place and then vids didn't get in because they just threw the singers in randomly for the hell of it, brought nothing to the table, and made the vid worse because of it There's nothing against putting singers in the vids, you just probably shouldn't do it if you want a good video

But anyway I digress lol, PM me if you wanna chat further so we're not hijackign the thread
