6.7.... sorry, didn't keep my attention for very long.

I discovered this song and singer because of a stupid movie trailer with Russel Crowe.... it was the only thing good about the trailer.

So I finally quit putting it off after watching another movie at the theater today and looked up this chick.

Here's a song called "Winter Sun" by Dishwalla that is probably my favourite off of their latest album. Well . . . all of their songs are my favs.

Pretty good song, Ed! Hmm, I didn't think I'd like it because I only have 2/3 songs by MCR that I actually like. Is this one off the new album? I might get it if all the songs on the new album are as good at that one.

The album is really really good. Half of it is good but not spectacular, and the other half is really really fantastic. There are no songs on it that I dislike, which is quite a feat considering how experimental it is.

What is it with experimental albums this year. First Black Holes and Revelations, now this. Though, I must say, that as experimental as Muse got, it still worked.

Yeah, new Damien Rice. It's been a while, but it's nice to hear new material. The new album has mostly mellow-ish stuff (and lacks the more powerful songs like "Prague," "Cheers Darlin," and "Blower's Daughter" that O had), but it's enjoyable stuff ... at least, for me.

Plus, I have high hopes to do a Jack/Juliet vid to "Grey Room" (well, at least half of it

).

I know, I don't get it either. He's singing about a one night stand and then the video is about some woman who tricks people into thinking she's going to kill herself? Weird. Good video though, even though it has NOTHING to do with the song.
